I know WDW will be busy every summer and every month during the summer, thats obvious lol. But for people who went every month during the summer, what month is usually the one with less people? were also staying at pop , so the better question would be what month is pop less crowded during the summer?

We used to go the end of August/early September, but now that they offer free dining at that time I'd expect it to be pretty busy...the week just before free dining would be a good time and the first and second weeks of June are good times :)

POP is always busy during the summer, but early June not all kids are out of school and early August some have gone back to school.

Gone are the good ole days when there was a really SLOW season!! LOL

p.s. Good to know it is not as crowded as I thought during the free dining! From reading here on the boards it seems nearly everyone will be there then! :) Late August/September cab be a difficult time to go with school age children - missing during the first few days or weeks can be hard for them.

We went the last weekend of August last year and found the park crowds to be moderate and the resorts (at least ours - CBR) empty!

I usually go during the free dining promotions in August or September, and the crowds are still pretty light (on some days, non-existent). Early June is ok, but it is as hot as August, and more crowded. July is busy, but last ear, I found it manageable nonetheless. It is true that crowds are better spread out throughout the year, but that results in the crowds being less intense during the summer months than they once were (though, it is still pretty bad).

We have gone in September two different times with the free dining, and even the the restaurants were crowded the parks were very manageable.

The last two weeks of August are pretty good. The kids have gone back to school and for the summer, it's fairly quiet.

We've been in August and in March (it was like wall to wall people!:scared1:) and will always go the end of August into September. The park seems empty to us during that time...guess we'll find out for certain in about a month!
