best time to go to WDW help

Want to go either April or May want to miss spring break crowds what do you recommend . Thanks....

Where do you like to stay with a great pool. We stayed yrs ago Holiday Inn Main Gate East. Where is a nice place. Thanks

I think once you get into April a bit, spring breaks should be over and the weather should be pretty nice. May is usually nice, but that is also love bug season, although last year the love bugs were almost non-existent.

Just about any hotel/resort should have a nice pool. My experience is only with on-site WDW resorts. The Caribbean Beach Resort has a nice main pool plus standard "quiet" pools in each section.

May. We go the last week of May but would go a week or two earlier if we didn't have school.

I've been in both April and May and found that it was less crowded around the last week of April.

My favorite time of year to go to WDW is late April into May up until Memorial Weekend.

If Easter is late, April can be crowded for most of the month. Many districts do have spring break into late April, again, especially Easter is late.

Early May up to Mem. is a safe bet.

The one thing to plan for is Grad Nights which see the MK closing early pretty regularly.

I love this time, its warm but not generally that humid. Obviously the closer to June, the more hot and humid it will get.

You have the Flower and Garden thing at Epcot.

If you want onsite and great pools, in my opinion all WDW resorts from the values up have great pools. Mods and deluxe's have sides and hot tubs.
