Is the best time to see Tink and the fairies at Toontown rope drop, or does anyone have any other suggestions. I don't want to wait too long.

I would say be there before rope drop. We got there at 9:50 (and rope drop was supposed to be 10:00) and they had already opened Mickey's Toontown Fair so we headed over to look at the line for the Fairies and the line was already 70 min. The next time we looked it was about 10:30 and the line was 45 min. Now we did just go at the beginning of August so it was a bit crowded so that may have had something to do with it but my advice would be to try and get there a little before rope drop and get in line then. Hope that helps!!

Well I can tell you that mid afternoon wasn't that great either ... the wait was at 75 minutes and no sooner did we get in line and they upped it to 90 minutes ... and believe me it was 90 minutes. Well worth the wait tho in my opinion.

Grumpymom, your family is beautiful. Thanks for the advice Grumpymom and DisneyFaeriePrincess. I'm going to try to make it to rope drop and see what happens.

Last November we waited at the rope at 9:30 and the dropped the rope about 10 min later so we went to the line and waited a bit and saw the fairies (well worth it) and were done by 10:15.

We are going to MK on our first day of our trip in Oct. It's basically a free day because we will be arriving about 2 pm. It's also a EMH night. So I was thinking we should do Pixie Hollow that evening during the parade and Wishes because we will have many other nights to see them. What do you think?:confused3 Good ideal or should we try rope drop on another day.

I've never been to Pixie Hollow, how late is it open? It will probably be less crowded at Parade and Wishes times, so go for it! :thumbsup2

We were at the rope by 9:30, Rope was dropped at 9:45 or so, and even though we were not too far from the front of the line, we waited at least 30 minutes.

You see why when you get in there. They do not rush you at all. My ds5 can talk for days without stopping. And by golly, those fairies listened to him as if he were telling the most exciting stories in the world. They were so sweet with him. None of that glazed over, "Oh yeah... cool... uh uh..." that busy people (like mom sometiimes... I'm embarrassed to say :guilty:) give him. They got into full, funny discussions with him.

So there really is a reason it takes so long to get in. If you can wait, it's worth it. My dd asked why they don't have fast passes for characters...
