I am trying to think when the best time in the Fall is to go back to WDW. We went earlier this year and will be returning again this year. Just can't decide when. Any advice? Thanks!

Next trip: this year sometime LOL
In order to get the great rate at a value resort, travel must inc. Oct 3rd. I made two ressies and will decide later which to do. The first one is the end of Aug simply because it is sooner and shortly after DH gets his vacation time. The second is 09/30 for six nights simply because it will be cooler and the Bday bash will start the first of Oct. DH wants the Aug date but *I* am leaning for the latter.

We my DH and I have gone the past 2 years in Oct.. Loved it!! It wasn't too crowded. Not too hot. And we got good rates. Great time of year.
Good luck! Have fun!

We went about one week prior to Thanksgiving week and the weather was delightful (mid 70's). A little chilly in the morning (for me anyway). My usual attire was jeans and a t-shirt. My husband and daughter wore shorts and t-shirts. And it was warm enough for my daughter to go in the pool. Lines were small, too.
We went in 1999 Nov 7-17 and it was wonderful. No lines (except at Test Track), weather in low - mid 70's during the days. Every day we were there it was sunny and beautiful.
Any time in the fall (except Thansgiving or Christmas) week should be great from a minimal crowd perspective.
I found it hard to get to get a discounted room when I checked for October as there are lot's of conventions there at that time.
Both my past visits have been in the fall. The 1st in 98 was the last week of September. The 2nd the middle of October. Both had light crowds and good weather...it only rained once on my October visit. However like mentioned above it is hurricane season. A couple days before I was due to arrive for my October 99 visit, they actually closed WDW, because of a hurricane...from what was reported on the news this was the 1st time they every closed the parks.(?)
