Best time for Serenity Bay on CC ?

Assuming that we have good weather, and are able to dock at CC.. ( fingers crossed big-time!!!) Is there a possible 'best' time to leave DS at Scuttles Cove for a short while and visit the adult beach?

I was hoping to try some of the adult lunch offerings while at the adult beach, but do not want to leave DS to have his lunch with the kids club. Would it work out well to leave him at Scuttle's at noon? (Navigators show Dig@Monstro's point at that time.) I am thinking that the music and activities offered on CC are probably scheduled for mid-morning and early-afternoon??? Which would also be when the main kids activities are offered in Scuttle's.

Any tips are appreciated!

How old is your son? The 3-7 year olds eat at 11:00 am on CC day and the 8-12 year olds eat at noon. If your son is 7 or under you can leave him at noon with no problem. If he's 8-12 then he will be eating with the kids in the programming.

If he's younger then your plan to drop him off at noon will work fine; just be sure to feed him first at Cookie's when they open.

Right, DS is 5... I had wanted to leave him at Scuttles for a short while, very first thing, (while he was still clean and dry, before swimming at the beach!) But, that would mean no lunch for us at the adult beach....

I really didn't want to leave him to do lunch with all the kids...

Will there be any chaises and hammocks at the adult beach at noon? ( I am thinking not... )

I may just have to stick my original idea, adult beach first thing a.m., and just forget about the special adult items for lunch on the adult beach.... That really would work out the most convenient! I am sure we will end up just going with the flow...

On our cruise in December on The Magic, the first one after the cancellation, we tried the food at both the adult beach and the family beach and much preferred the food at the family beach. They didn't have lobster tail at Serenity Beach, I asked. Also the chicken sandwich I had there was dried out. The lobster burgers at the family beach are delicious. The only thing they don't have at the family beach is the fresh fruit and beef and salmon sandwiches, but the fruit you can get on board and the sandwiches aren't anything special.

I had been thinking that the Lobsterburger was only at Serenity??? Anyhow, I think we will probably check out Serenity first thing a.m. and then spend the rest of the day with DS!
