Best ticket option

My family plans to purchase our AP as well as a TiW card, but what's the best option for my mother who always travels with us but doesn't live with us? She likes the parks and an AP would be nice but nicer with a discount. She wouldn't be able to enter the park for dinner unless she had an AP or park hopper correct? Are there any other options? Thanks for your help

Is she going to be with you all the same number of days as your family (meaning enough that she could use an AP?).

If not, I would get her just whatever the minimum ticket she will need is, and I guess including a hopper if you have plans to enter more than one park per day.

No DVC AP deals though for those who don't live in your household.

You could do what many do - to save a little money - you can buy a ticket from a reseller than bridge it at the parks and upgrade to an AP. Again, this is only a little bit of savings normally.

Yes there is still a 10 day non-expiring ticket. I purchased one in the fall through AAA.

You can add the hopping option to any ticket.
