Since I have to buy tickets anyway does anyone know of any bonus or discounts on them. Also when you buy a 6 day ticket, do they use the finger print when you go though the gate?

You can sign up for the mousesavers . com newsletter for discounts tickets frome undercover tourist . com . They are wonderful and very dependable. There's a small discount, no tax and no shipping/handling. So a small savings but it adds up. They also ship very quickly.

Discounts on WDW are far & few between, and never very deep. We've always used Undercover Tourist -anywhere from $2 to $40 off per ticket, depending what kind of ticket you need. Like the above poster mentioned, sign up to receive the newsletter from Mousesavers. com, they have a link to even better discounts from UT. Please be aware that UT prices include S&H & any taxes - most other places will quote you a price without those things added in the cost.

Every kind of ticket I've used in the past 2 years or so has been by fingerscan.

Others include Maple Leaf Tickets, Orlando Fun Tickets, and AAA. You can check each to see which offers the best deal on the particular tickets you want. Be sure that the price quoted includes tax and shipping.

Yes, finger scans are used for adult tickets.

We bought our tickets form Undercover and did not have to do the finger scan in May. Friends of ours were there in March and bought the same tickets from the same company and they had to do the finger scan. Don't know why our party of 9 didn't have the finger scan. No complaints.

Word is that Disney temporarily suspended the finger scan during the height of the swine flu scare. I did do the finger scan in mid-May - it had apparently just started being used again.

I was there during the Swine Flu hysteria... and I was fingerscanned!

They do turn it off if they get swamped sometimes.... hit or miss on that.
