If you were booking just one day in EPCOT for 11 people, 4 of which are girls between age 3 & 8, if that has any influence, where would you book?

My favorite table service restaurant in Epcot is the Rose and Crown in the UK, they have a lot of different menu options and options for kids. I also really love the Tokyo hibachi restaurant where they cook at your table, but not sure what all they have for kids. I've heard Akershus Royal banquet Hall in Norway is good and great for kids, but I have never been there.

We did Akershus for breakfast on our last trip with the girl who will be 8 this time. It was great! I'm going to skip it this time for a more well rounded trip, though, because we're doing 4 day tickets and will see all the princesses at Cinderella's Royal Table.

I'm hoping someone brings up...what's it called? The Aquarium restaurant? I hope it's a good bet for kiddos.

The Coral Reef is in my opinion, probably the worst table service restaurant in Epcot. Poor quality food, mediocre service, and unless you are up against the aquarium the environment is abysmal. Very expensive, you will find better seafood at Red Lobster. I would recommend Via Napoli or Chefs de France. It is fun to share pizza at Via Napoli and Chefs de France has something for everyone.

Chefs de France for a fair menu variety and great service.

Via Napoli for pizza, if everyone is happy with pizza. It's usually a crowd pleaser.

Biergarten! Its a buffet, so there is something for everyone. & the theming & the band is so much fun!

If you aren't doing a princess meal any other day, my vote would be for Akershus. The character interaction is wonderful and the food is good, too!

If you aren't looking for a character meal, I would consider Coral Reef (the aquarium is stunning), Biergarten (the oompah band is a lot of fun), Via Napoli for good pizza or San Angel Inn (for the atmosphere - the food isn't great, IMHO).

Our favorite is Spice Road Table, (which DS9) enjoys as well, but there's not much of an entertainment factor in the restaurant.

Via Napoli is our favorite. Always a great meal!
I couldnt agree more. Its our fave restaurant in epcot as well. Food is phenominal, both pizza AND pasta! Via Napoli would be my first choice.

My 2nd recommendation would be Biergarten. The kids would love the oompa band. Only problem is the group size....i dont think you'd all fit in one table. Lastly, if you dont care too much about the food, then go ahead and try Coral Reef if the kids would like the aquarium.

Also recommend Via Napoli as there are always large parties dining whenever we are there. The pizza is great, their other menu items are very good and it's a very lively place. My dd has loved it since it opened. We dine here often and take others as well.

Via Napoli Photos & Review

Warning, Via Napoli is not traditional pizza like you find at your local pizza place, and while it is ok the crust can sometime be too charred. Our teenage daughter didn't like it at all, although everyone else had a good time. And it is super loud. We didn't particularly care for Rose & Crown, and while we liked San Angel Inn probably not a good fit for your party. Chefs de France was good (my wife and I had an especially enjoyable lunch), but again is loud and the service can be slow and it can get cramped. Our "favorite" at Epcot is probably Teppan Edo (the hibachi place), good food/fun but a party of 11 might be at 2 tables. If I was booking for the party of 11 you described I'd probably consider Garden Grill (though we've never been), Teppan Edo (if you are ok with separate tables) and Via Napoli (but I'd ask to be seated outside if possible).

We're going with Biergarten next trip - I know our bigger group with five kids will love the music and atmosphere! With little ones we've also done Coral Reef, Akershus, and Garden Grill.... Our family is weird and actually liked Coral Reef. Everyone ordered steak and the kids were mesmerized. Our girls call it the Full House restaurant, haha. None of our kids cared for the food at Akershus. I would have been sorely disappointed there if we didn't have free dining. Plates were barely touched. Princesses were great, though! We really enjoyed the meal and characters at Garden Grill. It's a great option for a Mickey meal if you don't have another one planned. Probably my second favorite Mickey option at the World after Tusker House.

We enjoy Coral Reef and eat there every trip. We have always had good service and good food. We also enjoy Garden Grill and eat there every trip as well. Love Chip & Dale. I heard they changed the menu for lunch and dinner so we will stick with breakfast for now. Character interactions here are the best we have had. Via Napoli did not impress us. We found the pizza disgusting and the service slow and rude. The pasta dish I ordered was delicious though.
