We're taking our first trip to Disney and we're trying to cut costs. We're staying offsite. Will be a family of 4 adults and 2 children. (ages 7 and 20 months) We're thinking of buena vista suites. Anyone have any other suggestions for me? Preferably under 129 a night. We're planning for June 12-19th. Thanks!!

Check out Hotelkingdom to see if there are any suites available at cypress pointe resort or cypress pointe grande villas. They usually have the BEST deals on rates. We are going in June and have a 3 bedroom at grande villas for 135 per night. Two bedrooms are even less (about 94.00/night). I hear you should avoid the 1 bedroom lockout if at all possible since it is much more like a hotel room. If you do a search here, you'll find many people who have used hotelkingdom and stayed here. Almost all seem very happy with what they received. Another bonus is that despite the low cost, there is no timeshare presentation required (although they might offer one). I'm not sure what the site for the either resort is. You'll find them easily enough though if you search. The original cypress pointe resort has been recently remodelled but both are nice according to what I've found. I found that tripadvisor also had many reviews regarding the resort. Good luck to you. I know we are looking forward to our trip and so far feel like we are lucky to have found hotelkingdom. By the way, we'll be there from the 8th through the 15th of June

For that many adults and children, I suggest a condo or townhome rental. I think you will find they have more room and you can definately find one for under $130/night. You might be able to find one for less than $100/night. You could try www.vrbo.com site. My family of 6 will never stay in a hotel again.

Dreams unlimited is having a couple of great sales. DU is the site sponsor of disboards

here is a list of everything

but I also would recommend Cypress Pointe - now it does not have the activities of the Sheraton Vistana - but you only want a place to sleep
www.hotelkingdom.com

all are within a mile or two - now Sheraton Vistana Village is not - but Buena Vista, Sheraton Vistana Resort and Cypress Pointe - are definitely with a couple of miles of each other.

I tried this site and has worked out great for me. (lastminutevillas.net) Just enter in your information and you will get e-mails from various owners with their rates. I was originally looking for just a 3 bedroom condo or townhouse, but I entered my information for 4 bdrm. villas (houses) and got several quotes for $100 per night or some even less if you don't mind a 15 minute drive to the parks.. And these all have their own private pools, and most with two master bedrooms with their own ensuite bathrooms. So give it a shot and see what kind of responses you get. BTW-I booked mine for the first week of June.
