Hi everyone!

We will be travelling for the first time in November with our 4 month old daughter. We have bought the Baby Jogger Elite which is a brilliant stroller but I am just a little concerned at having to lug it around all day due to it's weight. Has anyone else used this stroller while at WDW? Obviously having the lie flat facility is a must due to the baby age.

Thanks! :thumbsup2

We used the double version of it. There was twenty minutes a day it was kind of a pain (buses) but otherwise and great stroller. Easy to push. Large hood. Good size basket. Cup holders. For the buses, we used the backpack rule. If it didn't fit in the back pack we didn't bring it. We would unpack the back pack a bit when we got to the parks and then while on line to get back on the bus or right before leaving the park we would take two minutes to repack it. Then all we had to do was grab the kids and fold it. We have also travelled with an uppababy vista. Pretty much the same result

We have a Britax B Agile, which is similar, and it has now made 20+ trips to WDW. We love taking it, and I don't think I would ever consider using a different stroller there. (I actually tried an umbrella stroller once, and my toddler just stood up and started walking with it while still strapped in.)

As long as you have two adults (or a baby carrier), you shouldn't have any issues on transportation. You will have to fold up your stroller for busses, parking lot trams, trains, and some boats, but you can leave it open and roll it on the monorail, ferryboats between MK and the Ticket and Transportation Center, and some of the larger boats.

Thanks! :thumbsup2 I'm not a fan of the umbrella strollers, I think they're generally pretty hard to push.

We are bringing our full-size regular stroller (Nuna Mixx) to DL in May. I would prefer a slightly smaller one like the City Select Mini we rented last year but at the end of the day, the stroller is only going to be a pain for a short period of the day.

If you just have your 4 month old, I would also bring a baby carrier on the trip with you.

Thanks! Do you have any tips on a baby carrier that will keep both of us cool?

Great Stroller, don't sweat it. It will be fine!

We've taken a full size graco, Maclaren Quest and City Mini Gt. By far we prefer the City Mini Gt. So easy to maneuver, great canopy and not too heavy!

Go with what works for your family!!

As suggested, go with what works. We love our City Mini GT Double and wouldn't go without it! I don't understand people's thriving desire to rid themselves of strollers, they are awesome! lol

We have a City Mini GT and I absolutely love that stroller. Lightweight and turns on a dime. Feels like you are pushing your baby on a cloud. :cloud9:

You will have so much fun with the baby!! I agree with everyone on the city mini. We purchased it just for our disney trip and love it. Would definitely recommend a full size stroller so you can bring everything! I went when our son was 5 months. I used the ergo carrier everywhere (made it so easy to leave him in on the rides). Also, if you are nursing, you can easily nurse in the ergo. I did all over Disney with an Aiden + Anais blanket over him. Also buy some carabiner hooks to hang from your stroller. If you are in a villa, a pack n play is in the closet. My son hates the pack n play. The hotels have always been accommodating to getting a portable crib. Have fun!

I hope so! I hope she's a good baby

We rented the City Mini on our last trip. It was such a great stroller! Reclined back very far and the canopy completely cover our extremely light sensitive son. It maneuvered great, turned and stopped on a dime (which comes in handy with all the people walking in front of you). We decided after our first park day we would never use a different stroller in the parks.

We bought and used a City Mini for our newly 4 year old last trip. Even with a kid that big is was very easy to push. Loved how quickly it folded for the bus! Everyone asked about it when they saw that feature.

Did you find it cumbersome for the trams and busses or was it ok?

Any of the City Mini series have the best folding mechanism on the market, just grab two pull handles on the seat and voila! folds up really slim too. As stated previously, while they are expensive brand new at full retail ($600 for a stroller!!) they really are the best strollers with the best features. Try and find an old one on craigslist, you can replace almost anything via baby jogger so if its faded, ripped, broken etc... get it cheap and then replace parts. That's what i did with my current GT double model, it was an absolute bargain!

If your order the regular City Mini at Bed Bath and Beyond you can use one of the 20% of coupons on it. You cant at Buy Buy Baby (sister store) but you can at BBB. Makes it $208.
