What does everyone think the best strategy is for these? I don't really want to spend a lot of time in these lines do they get pretty crazy? I'm sure going early is the best way to go but early in the day is prime line time. Anyone have any tips on best times and ways to do these?

It depends on the time of the year.. We did the Princess line at 1pm. Belle was out the front and the last photo of her was at 12.56pm... then lined up for the inside Princesses and the last photo was taken at 1.09pm. (the info is on my photos ) this was on the 8th April 14..
Im guessing during other times of the year it will be different, and longer.

Never done Pixie Hollow , but over the course of the day I have seen no people waiting ,and then the line spilling out past the fence...

Pixie Hollow generally has a longer line than the Princesses and stays at 45 min all day. We've had luck seeing Tink right when she opens and then heading to the Royal Hall next.

Early in the morning. The lines are short and you can still hit the rides with little wait. We did Royal Hall, Fairies, Star Tours, breakfast at Jolly Holiday, meet and greet with Bert and Mary, Splash, Indy and Haunted Mansion all by 11am. We got to the park around 8:30am.

While there's a show going on in the Royal Theatre.

While there is a show in the theater, there is usually no line at all for the Princesses. After each show, the line grows quickly.
