Best store-bought salad dressing...

OK, remember that in TX it is still salad weather (I know many of you are on to soups and stews...)

But, I just had the best store-bought salad dressing yesterday. Brianna's Homemade Blush Wine Vinegrette- it has a strawberry on the front and I found it among the more higher priced dressings (to the side of the Kraft and Good Seasons varieties)

It was just sooo good. I had it over a mixed green salad with blue cheese, walnuts, and halved grapes- it wasn't too strong to too oily and let all the flavors come through. The bottle says it's good over strawberries also- too bad they're out of season.

Anyone else still eating salads? Any favorite dressings?

Man, that sounds really good! My staple is a greek salad with lots of feta cheese and tomatoes - I like Ken's Greek salad dressing.

DD & I use Newman's Own Balsamic Vinaigrette mostly. We should own stock in the company - we use it for everything! Instead of oil on a hoagie, for pasta salad, to marinate steaks...lots of stuff!

DH likes Newman's Parmesan & Roasted Garlic - at least I think that's what it is...definitely Parmesan is the first word.

We eat salads year round though.

Yum I love the Briannas dressings I cant remember what it is called but it is the one that has the avacado on it . Buy that and then marinate some chicken breast in it and grill . Then slice it up and put it on a salad. Then use the Blush vinegrette on it .

Oh I am hungry now!

I use this one a lot too! DH is a bit bored with it, however, so I'm trying to branch out.

Now I'll have to try more of the Brianna's- it's more expensive, but a little seems to go a long way.

I love Marie's Honey Mustard and Ranch. I eat salad most of the year. In a pinch, I'll buy the bag salad.

Bag salad is nothing to sneeze at! Although lately I've been buying the bag spinach to combine with fresh lettuce- so good!

The Marie's Blue Cheese is really good...DH uses this brand on his Buffalo Wings.

I love Marzetti's 1000 Island. Another favorite is Marshall Field's Sesame Dressing....it's a sweet, oriental type dressing with sesame seeds. FANTASTIC on a mixed salad with fried wontons, chicken and mandarin oranges.

My current favorite is Ken's Raspberry Walnut Vinaigrette which I usually toss with mixed greens, Craisins, sunflower seeds and croutons. Yummy!

My all time fave has got to be Green Godess For many years I couldn't find it and about gave up on it but lo and behold the little grocery store I love started carrying it about a year ago again.
