Which do you recommend as a better steakhouse for Filet Mignon and New York Strip Steak, Yachtsmans or Le Cellier for two adults? If not one of these two what is the best steakhouse in Disney World?

I love yatchmans. The onions rolls are fantastic and the steak was great. Some nights they have surf and turf. i give that 4 thumbs up :thumbsup2

We tried Shula's last September and were quite unimpressed. I think Yachtsman is great.

Only tried Le Cellier and Yachtsman. We love Le Cellier and prior to our trip to YS would have recommended it to everyone but YS is so much better. You are not comparing like with like so if you are on the ddp it is a no brainer.

FYI Shulas and YS are about a 5-10 minute walk from EPCOT if able bodied. The boat ride takes longer if you need to rely on that :goodvibes:

Yachtsman is better than Le Cellier IMO. Haven't been to Shula's. I never make my way over to S&D.

Never could get a reservation at LeCellier, but Yachtman's was AMAZING!!! Excellent food & service I highly recommend it!!!!

:) If you go to Shula's take a flashlight. It is extremely dark in there which we did not enjoy at all, how every the food and service were excellent. Perry our wonderful waiter gave MIL a flashlight to read her menu. I am not joking, for the money I would have loved to see my food. Here is a photo, can you see my MIL--I know it is difficult.

Like a PP, I have only had the filet at Le Cellier and Yachtsman. While I loved Le Cellier, and it was unmistakably a good steak, the filet at the Yachtsman was by far superior. And those onion rolls? To die for. I think the difference was this - at Le Cellier they pour on a truffle butter sauce, which is delicious, but I tried a bite of the filet without the sauce and it was just ok. The Yachtsman on the other hand I had only the filet, no sauce, and the flavor was amazing. I think it was just a better seasoning/quality cut. I'd definitely pick Yachtsman if all you're considering is the filet :)

Best steak I ever had at Disney was at Boatwright's at Port Orleans Riverside.

For steaks, yachtsman is amazing. But if you have a non-steak eater beware. The last time we are there, the non-steak dishes were horrendous.

Shula's is very, very good, no doubt. However, I found Blu Zoo to be comparable in every way. Yes, Blu Zoo is more of a seafood place, but they make a heck of a steak. Shula's atmosphere was awful and the service very slow every time. Blu Zoo was spot on every time in every aspect.

I tried LeCellier and was not impressed at all. Not with the crowded basement restaurant, not with the long wait to get food, not with the food.

That said, I have not yet been able to get into the Yachtsman. Our upcoming trip in April is a first for that.
