We will be visiting WDW again the end of April and considering a special meal at one of the steakhouses. Any suggestions as to which is the best?

Thanks for your input!

We tried Yachtman's on our February trip. I honestly think that Ruth's Chris is better. The food was good, not spectacular. I liked my steak at Artist Point at WL better. We arrived 15 minutes early for our reservation, the restaurant wasn't crowded and they did not seat us until 20 minutes after our reservation time. It took 2 1/2 hours to finish our meal, not because we are slow eaters, but the service was extremely slow. That was just our experience. We won't go back.

Honestly the best steak I've had within the past few years at WDW has been at The Wave/Contemporary. I had a truly excellent filet mignon there during the fall of 2011....used to be you could get an excellent steak at Yachtsman and also Le Cellier, but, the last few times we've dined there I haven't been all that impressed with either. We still love Artist Point although I haven't had a steak there probably in five or six years.

I love steak, but I will tell you I have an extremely unsophisticated palate. I'm quite happy eating at Outback or Logan's or Texas Roadhouse. Shula's sounds amazing but the prices are way higher than I'm used to. I live in central Michigan and there's not much as far as fine dining here. I'd love to give it a try.

I'm going to say something that sounds ridiculous after all these other ppl suggesting Yachtsman or Shula's. My husband and sons had steak every night of our trip last October/November and DH said the best steak he had of the whole trip was at T-Rex at Downtown Disney. And the T-Bone dinner is only $30. The boys had New York Strips, $30.

Defiitely Shula's. Been to Yachtsman a few times - never had a problem there - but Shula's quality is fantastic!

ETA - prior to Shula's my favorite steak came from Flying Fish.

Off property at Johnny's....only slightly off prop as you "can" walk it from DTD. Shula's for on prop, well it is still technically off prop.

asc...where is Johnny's? TIA! :goodvibes

Le Cellier won for us but we have only had steak there & @ Narcoossee's which was also delicious. :thumbsup2 I don't eat steak but once a year & I enjoyed both. 2011 LC & 2012 Narcoossee's LOL!!! I'm very, very picky. I think YS gets wonderful reviews & would like to try it. I also saw Shula's on travel Channel & read a great review on it here!

We just came back last week and LOVED Yachtsman!! Service was spectacular as was the food.
