Best Steak?

Personally, I'd take Yachtsman over Shula's any day.

I've never been even remotely impressed with Shula's (and not just the one at WDW). I've found it to be WAY overpriced, and the service leaves a lot to be desired. Of the big-name "chain" steakhouses (Shula's, Capitol Grille, Palm, etc), it's by far the worst. To me, those are the places I go when I'm in a new city for a very short time and want a predictable meal. As long as I'm in Disney, I'm going to go somewhere that is part of the Disney "experience". Again, that's just me.

Now if they had a Ruth's Chris on property somewhere, I might change my mind ;)

We like yachtsmen the best. Shula is ok but it is a chain and you can find it in many cities. I have dined at the yacht a few times and always thought it was good. It's not great but I am from NYC and great would be Peter Luger.

My top 1ts restaurants for steak are in order:

Coral Reef ( I have never had a bad steak here... Still my favorite 1ts)
Whispering Canyon Cafe (Was tired of the platter and tried the ribeye... loved it)
Grand Floridian Cafe (actually did this as a last minute and enjoyed)
Captains Grill (well kept secret)
Le'Cellier (once it's a signature, I'll forget this place without thinking twice)

Yachtsman or California Grill are my favorites in Disney World. I have been to Coral Reef and Le Cellier too, but IMHO Yachtsman and California Grill can't be beat
