Best steak but still very casual?

Cant say enough good things about Yachtsmans Steakhouse or Le Cellier. YS has become a family tradition especially for the holidays. We also love the cheese soup and pretzel bread at LC.

Yachtsman is ok, quite casual, unless you insist on wearing a tank top!! Food was unbelievable and the price on par with what you expect for such a high quality steak. Don't forget to try the appetizers (humm... can I have 2 pounds of Buffalo Mozzarella/Tomato salad?). My suggestion is either the New-York strip or if you can afford it, the Land and Sea (6 oz. Filet Mignon and 8 oz. Lobster tail).

Le Cellier is a mess for me. As far as saying its a canadian restaurant, yes, we eat steak and yes, we have maple syrup, but that's where its ends. Cheddar Cheese soup is not a canadian thing! The filet mignon was ok... but one scoop of mashed potatoes with it? What's that? Also, a friend tried the salmon and got a piece where the inside was still frozen! Too expansive for what it is. Please, for a steak in Epcot, go to Teppanyaki.

We are not big fans of Le Cellier and much prefer Yachtsman Steakhouse.

We had dinner at Shula's on our last trip - we'll make every effort to go back this time too. I wore shorts and a short sleeve shirt with sandals. DH wore shorts with a polo shirt and sandals. We were fine, many people were there in casual attire. I also think 14 year olds would be fine in there - although depending on their appetite they may want to split an entree, and for a party of 4 ordering 2 sides is plenty of food for the table, especially if you want to try the dessert. The creme brulee was the best I've ever had. If dessert is not your thing you might share 3 sides. It is a bit more expensive than some other places but we felt like the food quality was far above the others.

We haven't specifically gone out for steak at WDW but according to WDW for couples, the Luxury Guide to WDW, etc., all of the forementioned restaurants serve great steaks with Shula's at the Dolphin often being given the highest ratings (also the most expensive, I think).

I'd love to go to Shula's, but their site clearly states "Business Casual Attire". I'm not there on business and don't intend to dress as such, so I think this may be too formal for us on this trip.

Does anyone know how fancy Shula's is?

Shula's has a "business casual" dress code. They tell you this when you book, as well as it being fairly prominently displayed in writing outside the establishment.

Le'Cellier or Jiko .

We tried Shula's a few years ago and were not very impressed. The steak we had was very dry and not much taste, and the price's were out of this world. Having to pay $10.00 to split a steak with my wife did not help matter's either. We will not being going back here again.

Schula's is pretty fancy. Personally, we like Yachtsman better then Le Cellier, and you can show up at both in your park clothes.
We love our steaks while in DW. Enjoy! ::MickeyMo

We enjoyed the Yachtsman!
We were treated by my In-laws to dinner at the Yachtsman on our Jan. trip. We all enjoyed the food, even the vegetarian in our group. And our 7 month old had a wonderful time.
I spotted a whole range of dress levels as we arrived but was completely comfortable in my park attire.

Re: Dress "codes":
Just keep in mind that unless it says a particular mode of dress is "required", it is mainly how they "suggest" you dress. As you can see form other posts, Shula's will be glad to let you in in Theme Park casual.

Hmmm... this sounds really good, any reviews on this one? What is the "dress code" and how do they do with children???

DH enjoyed the steak at Concourse Steakhouse... very casual!!!
