1,067 miles ahead of us... what Disney music is essential for our listening pleasure to build the excitement???

ANyone have favorite soundtracks, collections, etc? I haven't spend any money in iTunes in awhile and I'm ready to build up my collection for this trip :)

The "OFFICIAL ALBUM" 2 Disc set called The Happiest Celebration on Earth.

You'll think you were already in WDW when listening to all those songs and music from all the attractions.

Forget the Disney tunes - bring on the Bon Jovi!!! Would make my trip go much faster.

Here is my twitterpation collection: Mannheim Steamroller Meets the Mouse, Ragtime at the Magical Kingdom, Classic Disney Vol I thru V, Fantasia 2000, Color Rhythm and Magic, Heigh Ho! Mozart (Favorite Disney Tunes in the style of Great Classical Composers) and my various vintages of the Official Albums. I only play Bon Jovi while driving thru Cinci.

Soundtracks from Pirates, Area music, The MSELP music.

The audiobooks of the Kingdom Keepers series.

Ohhh - that's a good idea. We listened to one of the Harry Potter books on one of our drives. I would recommend getting a book on CD.

I have a CD with music from Epcot - I forget the name - but it has the music from the old Tapestry of Nations. Loved that parade.

We just returned from a 4,200 mile road trip. I would never do it again without XM/Sirius satellite radio! Disney music is awesome, but a lot of it can put you to sleep! I drove the entire trip over the two week period and needed stuff to keep me going.....

We also listen to Epcot, Wishes and Spectromagic cds on our trips.

I second that vote -- for the long haul, Sat Radio is well worth it!
