Best season for Characters

We went to US/IOA for the first time in January 2008. We love going to Orlando when it's cold at home and there are no crowds. However, we didn't see very many characters while we were there. When is the best off-season time to see characters?

Do a lot of the summer characters stay during September?

The characters wander all around. I saw Woody and Bullwinkle last Sunday morning. I'm surprised you didn't see many...they are usually all over the place.

It must have been my impeccable timing. If I don't have an appointment, I miss everything. Then again, I miss lots of my appointments, too.

I saw a whole lot of characters when I was there in October. All the superheroes were out our first morning at IOA (Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, Rouge, Captain America, Spider-man), as well as Woody. Later on in the afternoon, we saw Cat in the Hat, Thing One, Thing Two, and the Grinch.

At Universal, we saw Dora, Jimmy Neutron, Beetlejuice love, Marilyn Monroe, Lucy and Ricky, Shaggy and Scooby, the stilt walkers outside the Mummy, Homer and Marge outside the Simpsons ride, and.. I think that's all I can remember.
