Well, I posted earlier asking about a lunch at DTD and over 3/4 of my responses were for Earl of Sandwich!

So, I'd like to know what your favorite item to order is! Thanks!

I actually havent had the pleasure yet but I know I want to try the Hawaiian BBQ! I hear lots of good things on that one!

The grilled cheese. I've started making mine the way they make theirs.

How do they make theirs? Grilled cheese is one of my fave comfort foods..lol

The original is my absolute favorite!! But--I think it's the bread that makes their sandwiches so great, so you really can't go wrong! :thumbsup2

I opt for the salads. They are wonderful. Haven't yet had a sandwich there. :confused3

I would venture to say that all of the selections are great here. It is totally about the bread! But for me, the 2 times we went on our last visit I would not waver from the All American...minus the ranch (WHY???) It was like thanksgiving on an awesome roll. :goodvibes And very filling! My dh had the other turkey selection, and got the same both times. My ds(23 mos. at the time) ate alot of mine. And he is a real crank about eating food together (ex. must eat turkey & bread seperate  ) So try it, I can guarantee if you like thanksgiving food, you'll love this selection! :thumbsup2

Earl of Sanwich has become a MUST do for me, I LOVE IT!!!!

I don't think there is a bad sandwich at EoS. Wish I had one now.... ;)

I am not much of a meat eater, although sometimes I will eat some, and will not eat sauces based on mayonnaise (and I think it is too much of a pain to ask them to leave out the sauce).

So, it's the Caprese sandwich.

I loved the Florentine Chicken...but I am looking forward to trying others too.

:wave2: Hi Lulu! I had the Caribbean jerk chicken last time and it was delicious. But, next time I may try something different, the BBQ Ham sounds good.

The grilled cheese has swiss, brie, and bleu cheeses. The first one I had was better than the second... not as much bleu in the first.

It is just so darn hard to decide because so many are (or just sound) good!

Always have gotten the Jerk Chicken...maybe I will try something else this trip...I want to try ALL of them!!!

Oh yum I'm hungry just thinking about E of S....I have had the chicken salad sandwich twice and it was to die for......

I have tried all of them, and most sandwiches multiple times, I think this says how much I love this place, and I sure do.

I'm going to have to go with the Hawaiian BBQ as my favorite. The Full Montagu, The All American, and Le Frenchy are close behind.

This was so tough because we've not had a bad sandwich yet! I voted the Club because my bros and my mom had it last time we went and all three loved it. My fav is the Tuna Melt and DH's fav is Cannonballs!

You just can't go wrong at EoS!!!! Mmmmmm....drool....

The All American is my families FAV! But, we've also had the Florentine, a close second. The Tuna Melt is very good. My daughter loves the Caprese. The Jerk Chicken is our least favorite, but still very good.

Enjoy
