Best sandals for parks?

Another vote for Crocs, very comfy!

Although the year before I got the real Crocs I thought that I would try and save a couple dollars and got Croc know offs from Payless Shoes, that was the biggest mistake that I have ever made. My first night back at WDW I wore those and in about an hour I had them off and my feet hurt so bad. I never wore those again and my feet hurt pretty much the rest of the trip. Went back about six months later with Genuine Crocs and they were so comfortable with no break in time!

Moral: Don't get knock offs!

Keens. 100% Keens. All 5 family members. Every trip. Not a blister or pain. My dh wore Newport H2 sandals brand new, not broken in, without a blister.

You can get them super discounted sometimes, at endless.com or 6pm.com. Kids and adults. :thumbsup2

ETA: If you are buying for kids, do not get the Sunsport style. They are plastic and will give major blisters.

The only sandals I can walk in all day are Birkenstocks. I like their Birki and Betula lines. I have 5 pair in all. The only downside is that the cork footbed takes a long time to dry if they get wet.

I like to wear sandals to Disney during the warm months, especially because of the daily rainstorms. I don't want to worry about my sneakers being wet and then getting blisters etc. Saw lots of people wearing Nike or Columbia flip flops, which looked nice, but I don't think they offer enough arch support for me.
I used to wear something similar to Teva Terra Fi, which were very comfortable, but I hated the look. This year I got the Teva Zirra, which are still not great looking, but IMHO, they are slightly better looking than my other Tevas. Great arch and heel support. The top strap rubbed slightly, but using Body Glide on that spot and readjusting the straps helped.

Another vote for Keens!!

I did reserch prior for our recent trip and bought them for dh, ds11 and myself. As mentioned above no pain, no blisters. My ds9 had a regular pair of sandels (stride rite) and had lots of blisters and was very unconfortable.

It rained alot when we were at the parks. My feet got very wet, but the shoes dried quickly and i never really felt squishy (sp?).

I Purchased them at Dicks sporting goods, was able to use some coupons. We all have the newport h2 ones.

Worth the price.......
