We are heading down to WDW for 2 weeks in June. I usually wear my New Balance tennis shoes for a whole trip. I also wear Dansko clogs at home, just not at WDW.
I am thinking with all the rain we could possibly encounter in WDW in June for 2 weeks, that I should find a good sandal type shoe.
I was looking at Keens, but not sure. Just wanted to get some recommendations from others.
Since the search is disabled and has been for a couple of days…I figured I would just post a new thread.
Thanks

I've worn the Keen Venice H2's for years and I love them! I always wear them in the parks too, with little to no problems. I have one spot on my little toe that rubs, but nothing a little BandAid Blister Block can't help. This is more from my breaking that tow a couple times than the actual shoe, it rubs on every show I wear. The only draw back of these sandals is you definitely need to wash your feet at the end of the day as they definitely get dirty. I love all the color choices though. You can get ones on sale through 6pm.com, shoebuy.com and onlineshoes.com.

I second the Orthoheel Tide. I wore them our entire trip 6 months ago. I suffer from PF and this trip was a tough one. I was in a lot of pain at night due to all the walking. I think Orthoheel is now called Vionic. I order mine from QVC and I noticed the name Vionic on the box of slippers I ordered recently.

I discovered some New Balance sandals I had never seen before. A huge step up from the Nike and Addidas sandals I had worn in the past.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Do you all find that the slide type of sandal works well? I was thinking more of a sandal with a back…maybe the slide wouldn't be a problem.

The Keens don't work as well for me as Merrell or Teva "sport sandals" - can't do flip-flops. I need that arch support.

Birkenstock. I had a bad bout with PF 3 summers ago. Birki's and Betula by Birkenstock are pretty much the only sandals I will wear to walk around.

Clarks flip flops. I have plantar fascitis also, but I love these shoes. Adjustable and with arch support. Soo good.

So glad I pulled the trigger on orthaheels based on one of these threads last year. They really last on those loooong rope drop-closing days.

did you wear or do you wear orthaheels flip flops or which style?

I have really bad PF and I usually switch between Orthaheel sandals and FitFlop sandals. My feet still hurt, but not as bad as when I wear tennis shoes (haven't found any tennis shoes that work well for me yet). Also, I use KT tape on my arches and that seems to help some for me too.

Clarks brand sandals are the only ones I wear now. So comfy! Definitely get a pair with a heel strap - slides make my feet ache after a while because my feet have to work to keep them on. I get them on amazon for a better price and selection than the stores.

My best sandle is three....
Well, a temperpedic type soul in a sandle
A comfy sneaker
And a Croc for rain. No matter what, you hit rain and get your feet soaked its miserable.

In the heat all day my feet hurt, I go from the sneaker to my open sandle. If I have an earlier day with a sandle, then I switch to my crock with low ride nude sock, or my sneakers.

I use a body bond powder in my socks, rub. My feet with peppermint lotion at night. Killer mileage on the feet is miserable especially if in only one shoe or sandle.
