I am getting much different drive times and routes when I plug into Mapquest and AAA trip calculator.... I have never driven straight thru... always stopped overnight at our condo or a friends house.
Has anyone done this drive before and what is your opinion on routes... drive 78 to Birmingham, I-65 to Montgomery- then 231 to Dothan, then on to I-10 to Tallahassee to 1-75 ~~or~~ 78 to Birmingham, then 1-20 to Altanta to I-75 and onward.
I have driven all these routes for other trips, so I am familar with the roads.
We will leave on a Saturday morning 6am.
I just don't know which will be quicker.
