Best room request location for Animal Kingdom Lodge

I stayed at AKL a few years ago and had a savannah view room. I would like to add my room request for my upcoming DVC stay and was wondering what should I request for our stay.

We had an excellent location with our DVC rooms. Rooms 5208 & 5209 right above the check-in counter. To get to our villa we had to cross an awesome wooden bridge. I don't recall which room was the studio and which was the 1BR but it's on the Sunset Savannah and we had animals all the time except once during our 9 day stay. I couldn't have requested a better location!

If you're in Jambo House, our preference is Zebra trail, Arusha Savanna. There's a bit more info about why we request these specifics here on our fan site.

Do you really see a lot of animals in the Savannah view room? and how close are they to the room?

I have a DVC room booked in the Jambo House for this May but it's a standard view. Since I've only stayed in a savannah view room I'm not sure what to request. I'd prefer to be close to the lobby so I did put that as a request, but since the other options when checking in online are all views, I wasn't sure what would apply to my standard view and what would be best to ask for. Any help would be appreciated.
