Days away from making our reservation and I have printed off the Poly map. I need some pointers on the best location at the resort. I want to make a request for a certain building. I'd love some feed back from all my Poly friends on here! We are springing for the deluxe resort but we can't afford Club level. So whats the next best thing?

We were there in September and stayed at Tokelau. We loved it! The room was huge. We had a view of the quiet pool and a balcony! We ate out there for breakfast a few times. I relaxed out there after a morning at the park.

The walk to the TTC was quick! Also it was very close to the GCH! I noticed the Tahiti building is also very nice. I think it has the same size rooms as Tokelau, but it looks a little closer to the TTC and a little further from the GCH, but closer to the beach!

Have a great trip!

I have always booked garden view (i.e. the cheapest room!) and request Tokelau. We LOVE it! The longhouse location is central and not next to the volcano pool (so not as noisy) yet still next to the quiet pool. A barely there walk to the bus and an easy walk to the GCH or TTC.

We stayed on the 1st floor in Roratonga this past January and it was perfect! We had a nice little private patio area that faced the monorail. Our patio was bordered by shrubs so people walking by couldn't see us, there was no noise from the monorail, but the kids could watch for and see the monorail as it came up. It's very close to the bus stops, right next to the Great Ceremonial House and a very short walk to either pool. The TTC was a longer walk (maybe 5 minutes?) but we rarely used that in our 8 days there. I think we used the TTC two or three times at most.

I also requested (and got) Tokelau. It was an easy walk to both the TTC and the regular Poly transportation (bus & monorail). There are no parking lot views, and it's a right next to the quiet pool and very close to the beach where you can see the MK fireworks.

It worked out great!

We've stayed in a GV room in Samoa and loved the location. We thought Samoa was very convenient to everything as it's just steps from the GCH, volcano/quiet pools, the beach, and Captain Cooks. We are staying Poly CL next summer so we know we'll be in the Hawaii building, but if we were to book a regular GV room, Samoa would be our request :goodvibes.

We were in Rapa Nui 1st floor room, the room closest to the walk way to the TTC and we really liked it. One time we even walked over and took the ferry to MK I am weird & love the ferry;) I remember taking the ferry on my first trip to WDW with my Grandpa. I was at first bummed about a patio vs Balcony but we liked it.
