Best room location at the DVC Resorts

We just stayed at the Villas at wilderness lodge in rm 4519, a 2BR dedicated atrium room. We loved the layout. It is tucked in the corner so, the master is in one nook, then the living room & kitchen are in a square shape of sorts and the 2nd bedroom is off in it's own nook. We could see parts of the pool...most of the views are of just the trees.

s..no view, but great for bus, and close to main building... (short walk).

hey my nephew had a great view - it was partial golf course, partial stream and a little of the lake view you could see the boat along it.

As long as there is a deck for me to sit out on I am happy. My favorite view when reserving a room is BWV Boardwalk View. Sitting out there at night watching everything going on have a drink is as good as it gets for me

what about the BCV? Are there any 'better' rooms in this place? We're staying here next winter, and I have no clue of the setup, etc.

Just came back from SSR. We were in room 2723 I think. We really loved the view. We had a Downtown Disney view, a "water" view, and a garden view all in the same room. We were right by the elevator and not too far away from the bus stop or the quiet pool. But if this is ALL Disney resorts, I would have to say an ocean view inn room at Vero Beach.

A Paradise Pier view room on the 4th, 5th or 6th floor at VGC.
Pure paradise.

Here is a link to a website that has specific room information posted by folks who have stayed in a particular room

http://www.dvcnews.com/index.php/resorts

Look for the name of the Disney resort then there should be a link to "room finder" which is where you will find all kinds of info. based upon the type of room ie: studio, one bedroom. and what floor you want to be on. Once the search results come back simply click on the room number to view the details regarding that room.

I loved the Grizzly Peak view I had last September. 5th floor looking out over Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. Looking left you could see the VGC pool as well. I had to go back to the room to get something and could actually look out my window and see my kids playing inside DCA. We waved to each other. At night it was quiet and peaceful with animal sounds piped in (WOC may change the quiet and peaceful).

That room is tied with my stay in a 5th floow Boardwalk View 1 BR a few years ago.

Both rooms were perfect for my family, but I can't say I had a bad one yet.
