I'm trying to plan our meals for our upcoming Jan 25-Feb 1. We are traveling with my MIL who is a famously picky eater. She's a meat and potatoes, no spicy foods kind of gal. What restaurants do you recommend? I have some ideas, but I'd like to hear yours! I booked LeCellier and Chef Mickey's already. Now I need to fill in the rest of my days! Recommendations can be for any meal, breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

An adult picky eater? She must be a joy to travel with.

Did I mention that she sleeps late, too? We'll see how it goes, we already warned her that we'll be in the parks when she wakes up and she'll have to take the bus to meet us!! :thumbsup2

Hey hey hey now... I too, am an adult picky eater. And I am a total joy to travel with :lmao:

Meanwhile, I'd suggest 50's Prime Time, Concourse Steakhouse, Rose and Crown, 1900 Park Fare.

A lot of restaurants will take special orders, so if she sees something she needs to tweak on a menu they most of the time will be very accomidating.
As far as restaurants geared towards picky eaters - check out the menus on allears.net
I always find there to be something for everyone on a lot of their menus. From some fish choices to roasted chicken to pizza.

oHH BOY!! You are in for it. A late riser and a picky eater? Are you sure she is an actual adult and not an adolescent who never grew up? Will she throw fits? Make sure if you have to give her a time out, that you are firm and stick to your guns.

Thanks for the suggestions! I have wanted to try 1900 Park Fare and this will be the trip to do it, I think! I looked at the menu and we may do 50's Prime Time for lunch. That will be a new one for us, too.

Liberty Tree tavern Crystal palace and Garden Grill are all pretty "meat and potatos" kinds of places (Done the first 2 and loved them, doing GG next time)

hey now! i'm an adult picky eater. don't judge!

I like GF cafe, coral reef, any buffet, narcoosses, etc. and i am trying wcc this trip as well. good luck!

Our family consists of both picky and adventurous eaters. The best restaurant that suits us all is Boma, there is plenty for eaters who want to try something new and different, but some "normal" foods for us picky eaters. As a picky eater, I can tell you that I love their Prime Rib.
