Best resort to rent a motorized boat from?

Hi! I'll be at Beach Club next month and expect to have some hours to spare on non-park time. Would you suggest renting a motorized boat from BC (where we'll be staying), or one of the MK resorts? I'll be with my husband and two sons, ages 10 and 8. Looking for whichever is more pleasant and picturesque.

The website says reservations are not required, but are they accepted? Does anybody have an idea of how easy/difficult it is to secure a walk-up motorized boat rental. Any other tips or thoughts to share?

I don't believe they are currently renting anything smaller than a pontoon boat for $45 per half hour. If you'd like a pontoon boat, renting at Yacht Club will have you sailing up and down Crescent Lake and probably down to DHS. I would guess 7 Seas Lagoon and Bay Like might be more spacious and more picturesque. which would mean renting from GF or Contemporary. No idea on availability, apparently you just go there to rent. If you are worried about being turned away maybe stick to Yacht Club

Thank you so much! I was having a hard time envisioning where we'd be allowed to sail around the BC area. This info is very helpful and I'm so excited to give it a try.
