Hi All!

We're seriously thinking about purchasing a DVC by resale. We love the WL and would the VWL are an obvious choice for us.

If you have bought by resale who did you go with.

Thanks in advance for the info.
Renee

We have purchased 3 resales thru The Timeshare Store. They are the sponsors of this site and have helped many here with resale purchases.

We worked with Pat Spell on all 3 purchases.

Enjoy!

I have also used The Timeshare Store and Pat Spell for my purchase at BWV. It all went off without a hitch! Good luck with your purchase!:)

I e-mailed the Timeshare Store about listing some of our pts. for sale and never heard from them.

We used The Timeshare Store for our first purchase and I would use them again!:teeth:

I used Shontell Crawford from DVCByResale.com and she was great in taking care of us.

Shop the 3 major sites and find the resale that best fits your needs (location, points, banked points, use year and $). IMO, shontell, jaki and pat are all excellent and will all work the same for you.

We have purchased resales from Jaki Apetz 3 times and have had great service each time. All three times I told her what we were looking for and she found a resales for us in days.

Her link http://www.atimeshare.com/disney/ and her phone is 888-345-2622.

I would look at the top three websites mentioned above AND CALL them all... 2 of our 3 resales never made it to the web page, so if I hadnt called and told Jaki what we were looking for (# of points, resort, UY) I would have missed out on a fully loaded BWV contract for 64 pp (before the huge ROFR started, thank goodness)

We used Jaki 3 times and it went very well, but I would still Shop around.

We also used Jaki at www.atimeshare.com and it was a wonderful experience! We got in just under the wire at $62/pt. for the BWV (200 point contract). The ROFR started getting exercised pretty much right after we closed. Jaki was really fast, too. I'd use her again in a heartbeat if we decide to add on.

We purchased VWL using Pat at The Timeshare Store. All went great and we would definately do it again.

Hi! We just recently bought a resale through dvcbyresale and dealt with Shontell. Shontell was wonderful and the whole process went smoothly and took only a few weeks. I def. agree with the others that said shop around and look at the sites mentioned and see which contract best fits your needs. Good Luck!
:earsgirl:

::yes:: I emailed the TimeShare Store 3 times requesting info on 2 BWV properties, and never got a response. I then emailed Shontell Crawford at: http://www.dvcbyresale.com/ and she responed quickly, and bent over backwards to make sure everything went smoothly. I highly recommend her. ::yes::

I've called both the Timeshare Store and Shontell about selling our VWL pts and actually talked to someone on the phone. Was told they were going to e-mail me information and I have yet to receive anything from either one.

I guess I'll call again.

I am shocked about hearing that about Shontell - she and Maggie are very, very good about both calling and e-mailing me about my resales.

I highly recommend calling Shontell again, Monday morning. There are a lot of good properties out there going for great rates. The paperwork is easy and your rewards are good.

Best wishes!

Rae

If you use the timeshare store, especially if you deal with Jerry, bring your flashlight......we found the whole experience shady.

Though we never persued a contract with her, we found Jaki at atimeshare.com to be very forthcomming and knowledgable.

I have used the Timeshare store and Shontell's DVCbyresale and had success with both of them.

I did try to buy thur one other guy and found it to be a disaster. The name was Reid, but I don't recall the web site. I am not sure how they make any money there.
