I've just started horsing around with National Coupon IDs and Contract IDs and still am around $200 for an Intermediate for my wife and I (Oct 2-Oct 7).

Thrifty can be had for about $130 or so.

My goal is to get this under $100. Paid $88 (plus the taxes) same time last year.

Anyone want to take up the challenge and share the secret to the $15 (or less) per day car rental?

Thanks much.

I sure need the secret also. I'm looking for a car July 19-27 and $225 - $300 is the best I have been able to do so far - on any of the sites.

I have 10 days in October for $140. total. (National)

Back in March the rates just fell every day, not just for October but for the entire year. I have not seen anything like that since.
But......I do believe they will go back down again, just not sure when, so keep checking.
Depending on the rental I used:
Priceless code- 6600330
American Exp. 5125601
and
Ent. coupon 10009123 $20. off

Right now you probably won't find that low of a rate. All car rental companies prices went way up and haven't gone down in a while.

Yes. Right Now I have a quote for 10 days National Emerald Aisle for $158, which I booked on 3/15. That same quote is almost $300.00 right now.
