We are Red Lobster fans... have been to some really enjoyable ones in the past (clean, family oriented, great service, really enjoyable food etc.etc...) - ok not gourmet, but really enjoyable... :)

BUT we went to one in Orlando (the one at 5690 W Irlo Bronson Meml Hwy, Kissimmee) a few years back and I wasn't as impressed...

I know that places changes from year to year (and manager to manager and even night to night!), but can anyone suggest - from their personal experience - a GOOD Red Lobster in the Disney area?

Thanks,
Alice

Hi Alice

Our favourite Red Lobster in the WDW area is the Lake Buena Vista one. It's at Crossroads, behind Perkins on Apopka-Vineland.

We've eaten there at least three times and always had a good meal there. I wasn't quite so keen on the one on the 192 near Formosa Gardens (unsure if that's the one you mention above, or not)

HI Alice - I agree with Karen, the one at Lake Buena Vista is great ( I am also one of the worlds biggest Red Lobster fans and go to them wherever I find them!!) - Lake Buena Vista has always been my favourite and I even had my wedding rehearsal dinner there!!!:thumbsup2

Thanks Karen and Amy.

I will take your advice and go eat at the Lake Buena Vista Red Lobster :goodvibes

Thank you so much :)

Alice

Funnily enough, we like the Irlo Bronson Red Lobster!

Last time we were in there, next us was a table of absolutely HUGE black guys bedecked with Gold rings, watches, earings, chains.

Turns out that it was part of the NY Jets Defensive line out for a meal.

Nice guys, gave little 'un a couple of their lobsters on chains.

Really? You definitely like the one South of the I4? (there are two on Irlo Bronson - one South of the I4, the other North)

We might have caught it on a bad night, but the whole look/atmosphere didn't get us either... :cool1: . BUT there were an awful lot of British people in the one we were in, so it felt a bit like "Little Chef servers lobster" :rotfl2: . Still, we could have our work cut out for us trying to avoid restaurants heavily attended by Brits in Orlando :rotfl: ).

We will give the Lake Buena Vista one a go this time :)

I can't remember now Alice.
All I remember is that its back off the highway as I recall (it was dark :lmao: )

Had a great meal at RL in LBV Crossroads in December :)

Claire ;)

We had a really nice meal at the crossroads one in August. A whole deal more upmarket than the one that I've eaten in in Portland (OR), which was full of Americans and much closer to "Little Chef".

The one at Formosa Gdns is excellent, how I wish they had decent affordable seafood restaurants over here like Red Lobster.
