So, we visited the Poly on our last trip and would LOVE to stay there, but we cannot possibly swing $450 per night! Are there any other ways to get rooms cheaper. We could go during value season, but I still see the room listed for $405. Any suggestions on where to find the best deals or do I just need to suck it up and stay somewhere else.

thanks for your advice!

Sometimes there will be pincodes that come out offering a certain % off. Sometimes Disney will run certain promotions where you get a certain % off of a value, moderate, or deluxe hotel. There's no telling when/if those promotions will happen. Check the specials on their website or call and speak to a CM to find out what promotions they are running, if any.

The most Ive seen is 30% off, and that is for seasons like September, early November, January etc... If youre flexible with dates/months, you can certainly get a deal off the room, but even with 30% off, the room price is about $300ish per night. I wouldnt expect any lower than that unless the US economy suddenly tanks like it did 2008ish...

That's the most I usually see for the regular promotions, but a few years ago we received a 40% off pincode which we put to use immediately!! :cool1:

Do you have an AP? We booked Poly last year with a 40% off AP discount. That's the best discount I'd see for Poly.

How could I have missed suggesting that?? That's what I used for this passed trip! Duh:rotfl2:

I was going to suggest this as well, but you need to do the math as one person in your party would need to purchase an annual pass (so that would cost more) and then you'd have to wait for the AP rates to be announced for your time period to see what kind of discount you'd get.

Otherwise if you are a AAA member you might be able to get a 10-20% discount, depending on the season and if rooms are available for that rate.

Otherwise your only other option, as mentioned, is to hope for a pin code or general public offering, which a lot of times will offer 25% or more off, but that still doesn't guarantee that rooms will be available at that rate, especially with the Poly's popularity.
