Best Rate Program

I'm not liking this at all! We live about 6 hrs away so most of our trips are scheduled well under 120 days. They're usually 60 or maybe even 30 days out...we've even booked a week out!
Does anyone know more about this? I'm thinking there's not much advantage now for being an AP....FONT=Comic Sans MS]We have AP's and can usually find great rates....the problem is we don't book 120 days out!!! Yesterday I tried to book for 10/20 - 10/24 and they said to get AP rates you have to book 120 days in advance! This means I can't book now for our usual 1st week in Dec trip because it's less than 120 days!!!![/FONT]Please help....I'm really sad!

Everyone is still waiting to see if an AP code will come out soon for after 10/4. Most are thinking it will be very soon like this week or next so there is still hope! Just keep in mind that because of the BR program, rooms with AP discount availability may be even more limited with the code. So, if a code comes out, I would advise calling on that day. Nothing to add other than the fact that you are going the same exact time in Oct. that I am and I too also always go the first week in Dec. MVMCP on the 4th.........just thought that was ironic.
I already have POFQ booked for the Oct. dates would like to get the rate lowered with a code, but if not it is doable. Still waiting to make the Dec. reservations though.

thanks....I think we've gotten lucky in the past, but now I see I'm going to have to be more diligent. What's the best way to learn of a new AP code? How often do you check, etc?
