best/quickest way from WL to BCV Sun morn

a bus to EpCot then switch to BC? or do we just walk through EpCot?
Im hoping to get this done ASAP (EpCot may or may not be open)
do we have Disney transfer our luggage or can we bring it on the bus?

Are you switching resorts? Just resort hopping? I guess I don't totally understand.

If you are switching resorts, it's my understanding that WDW will transfer your luggage for you. You could certainly schlep it on the bus with you, but it does not sound like a lot of fun.

I would check with the resort you are leaving to find out the best way to get to where you are going. And as Tyler always says, don't trust anyone who's not wearing purple pants. (Right Tyler??? )

But I suspect the bus from WL to Epcot, and then another bus from Epcot to the BC would be the way to do it.

There is no bus from EPCOT to BC. You would have to walk through once it opens.

You could take the boat to MK and transfer to a BC bus.

Or take a bus to AK and then take a BC bus.

Or take a bus to MGM and then take the boat to BC.

Or take a taxi.

The resorts will transfer luggage for you just be sure to have anything with you that might be needed during the day.

besides the taxi I think the easiest would be boat to MK and then bus to BC - that would most likely let us check out/in about 9am'ish? (I know give/take travel time)

On our first trip we transferred from VWL to BWV and bell services transferred our luggage. Not sure if it was just our luck but the driver of the DVC van offered to drive us over for free. I did, of course, tip him very, very well I know though you can get a cab for a very low cost to minimize the inconvenience of having to go to a theme park and then over a resort, etc etc. I always try to plan the resort switch so that it the resort we are checking into just happens to be nearest to the theme park we are going to that day

Hi,

What about taking transportation from WL to a themepark and visit that park? Later on you take transportation from that park to BCV. Why? You need to check out by 11am. You can officially check in at BCV starting at 3pm I think. Also the bagage transportation will take more then an hour if that is done by Disney.
You can of course go direct to BCV via a connection at MK. If you are checking in, in the morning there is no guarantee that you room is ready. If your room isn't ready it is a waste of time in my opinion.

I figure we'll have an EpCot day (closest park to BCV) the day we switch from WL to BCV.
Id like to try to check-in early just to hopefully get a room assigned to us even if room isnt ready, etc.

We switched resorts (VWL to CB) this past Oct. We checked in 9am?, I believe we were even given our keys, went off to SeaWorld for the day and when we returned back to our room called for our luggage.
