I will not be rolling my self out of the Table Service spots every meal this next trip as we are getting the regular dining plan this time and not Deluxe... that being said.. where are the best quick service places for decent lunches and a nice place to sit and eat it? popcorn::

MK ... I like Columbia Harbour House ... not as busy and plenty of places to sit upstairs

Epcot ... Depends upon the type of food you like ... Morroco has a nice CS, I like Mexico as well. UK has the fish and chips; however, they are usually backed up and there is no special seating provided. Of course, the LAND has the excellent "food court", Sunshine Seasons (?).

Animal Kingdom ... not too much experience here, but have eaten at the Asian CS and liked that

Studios ... I've eaten at the Commissary and it was okay ... I think there are other places there that might be better

The BEST counter service, especially if you are on the dining plan, is Wolfgang Puck Express in the Marketplace of Downtown Disney. Yummmmmmmmmmm

MK - Pecos Bill but if you have the time, take the monorail to CR (Contempo Cafe - lots of fun choices) or the Poly (Capt. Cooks - pulled pork sandwich with a Dole Whip for dessert!).

Epcot - lots of good choices. We particularly like Norway for the ham and apple sandwich, soup or salad, and your choice of dessert. But really it just depends on which type of cuisine appeals to you most.

HS - Starring Rolls, hands down. Huge tasty sandwich plus a big bag of chips or piece of fruit plus a dessert pastry like the Butterfinger cupcake, plus your drink.

AK - Flame Tree BBQ. I particularly liked the BBQ chicken salad bowl. Not 'chicken salad' - a green lettuce salad topped with BBQ chicken.

MK.....Pecos Bill's - It can be pretty busy but it is worth it. The fixin's bar is great, particularly for the burgers and the taco salad (by the way, the taco salad is pretty big, I have shared it & still had plenty).

Epcot....Depends on how adventurous you are. If you are kind of an unadventurous eater, I suggest Electric Umbrella in Future World - standard burgers, chicken nuggets, etc. You can get free soda refills there. If you are more adventurous, there are many great cs choices in the World Showcase. The bakeries in France and Norway are my favorites....good sandwiches and many delicious pastries for dessert. The napoleon at Boulangerie Patisserie is my favorite Disney treat...it's amazing!

Studios....My family likes Backlot Express. They offer typical counter-service items, but some of their sandwiches are really good and they also have the fountain so you can refill your sodas. We have eaten outside and been able to watch Jedi Training Academy - my kids really liked that. Also have heard wonderful things about the Starring Rolls....hope to try it for myself this year.

AK....We like restarauntosaurus (though it gets mixed reviews on the boards). The food is pretty standard, but they also have a toppings bar and free soda refills. Kids meals come in a bucket with a shovel, it's kind of cute to take around with you (my DS took it to the water park last year - loved having it there). Heard Flame Tree BBQ is great.

If you go downtown you have to try Wolfgang Puck Express and or Earl of Sandwich. Wolfgang Puck Express has many great choices - we've never had a bad meal there. And Earl of Sandwich has yummy sandwiches and desserts.

MK Cosmic Rays, lots of choices.
EPCOT hands down Sunshine Seasons. We even stop in just for a dessert. Strawberry shortcake is yummy!
AK is limited IMO. We usually eat at Restaurantosouras which is your usual burgers ect. But wins over Flame Tree because of AC. I actually like the CS at Y+Y but not sure about DDP.
Studios Catalina Eddies and the differant windows in that area. BUT no AC so the one next to Star Tours is OK if it is really hot!

MK- Columbia Harbour House or Cosmic Rays
EPCOT- Future World- Sunshine Seasons or Electric Umbrella
EPCOT - World Showcase- Fish n chips in UK, Mexico cs
HS- not really a favorite, but normally we find ourselves eating at the open air food court across from beauty and the beast, they have several choices and we can all get something that we like.
AK- Yak n Yeti cs but my DH favorite is flame tree

DTD- Wolfgang Puck Express and Earl of Sandwich

If you don't mind Disney Pizza, Go to Pizza Planet at DHS. you get a pizza and salad for 1 CS/QS credit.

MK - Columbia Harbor House - salad w/grilled chicken is great, fried shrimp-so many shrimp!, & tuna sandwich
also Cosmic Rays - great value on DDP, or QS plan - rotisserie Chick & ribs- mash pots, green beans

Epcot - Sunshine Seasons & France (for your snack credits!)

AK- Restaurantasaurus - Shrimp 'po boy - yum!

HS - can't help you here, haven't found too much to rave about. Will try Starring Rolls this trip. Go to Writer's Stop for a carrolt cake cookie with a snack credit though! :lovestruc

DTD- Earl of Sand (will be trying WPE this coming trip)

My favorites are...

MK - Columbia Harbour House - Love both the tuna and the hummus sandwiches

AK - Flametree!

Epcot - WS - Tangierine Cafe and Boulangerie Patisserie

DHS - We like Backlot Express...The veggie sandwich is pretty good, just wish they'd change their desserts. We also like Pizza Planet - not the greatest pizza, but not bad. AMC Commisary - Never again!!!

And, by far the best CS in all of DW (IMO) is Wolfgang Puck Express in DTD. We eat there at least 2 or 3 times on a 10 + day vacation. I love everything, but especially the Spicy Chicken Pizza!!! :goodvibes

MK- Noodleland Terrace if open has a nice Beef and Bleu cheese salad that DH like, kids meals were very good.

AK- We liked Pizzafari, Chicken Ceasar was good and kids liked the pizza with grapes and cookies. Inside AC plenty of seats.

DHS- we have not eaten CS here yet.

Epcot- We like breakfast at Sunshine, not sure about other meals.

WPE is GREAT!!!

The 2012 Dining Plan is NOT listing Wolfgang Puck. In fact the only two restaurants in DTD are FoodQuest and Cap’n Jack’s Restaurant. :scared1:

The 2012 Plan will not include ANY of the non-Disney-owned restaurants including CS until all the annual contracts are signed. The list may not be finalized until December. Historically there has only been 1 time when an outside restaurant dropped off, I believe.
