Here I go again...Last year I couldn't make up my mind where to get a quick meal at the MK, and I still don't know! If you have any good food experiences in the Magic Kingdom, please post them here!

Thank you!

Try the Columbia Harbor House. DW and I have eaten at pretty much all the MK restaurants over the years. Our favorite counter service (aka quick) place is CHH. Great food and decor.

I like Columbia Harbor House. I also like El Pirato y El Perico and Cosmic Ray's.

The first two are pretty quiet and Cosmic Ray's is usually a madhouse, but it's fun to watch the lounge act.

I like Columbia Harbour House too. If you go be sure to sit upstairs if it's open for some nice peace and quiet.

For a quick lunch in the MK we enjoy Pecos Bill's. It does have a pretty basic fast food menu so if you're looking for something different this might not be your place but they have good burgers, hot dogs, and chicken wraps. Great fixin's bar and the food has always been nice and hot. Large portions of fries so don't be afraid to share. Even though it can get crowded they seem to move things along very quickly or at least they have when we have eaten there.

Columbia Harbor House wins for us because of the quiet upstairs. We tried Pecos Bills last year and found it is very loud and crowded at lunch time. Be sure to hit it in the off-times.

Everyone is giving away my wonderful secret (Columbia Harbor House). Stumbled upon it last year, and we liked it very much.

We like Columbia Harbor House and well as Tomorrowland Terrace (?), where you can sit outside and view the castle.

My favorite place is Pecos Bills. They make an incredible salad (with or without chicken) that has little chunks of cheddar cheese and a great lime vinagrette dressing. I found it the last time I was there and have been thinking about it many many times while planning for my trip in April. Although it is a little loud there, if you go to the back dining area, it's usually empty.

is for Caseys on Main Street. yes, it's nuts. But, we love the view of main street and the castle from the outside tables. Try to go at a time other than 12 - 1. Either early or late. We also like the piano player - kind of fun and whimsical.

My second favorite for a quick lunch would be Aunt Pollys Landing over on tom Sawyer's island. it's sort of relaxing. They have fried chicken too! And PB&J sandwiches. Like your "aunt Polly" would make for you.

Yes, Columbia Harbour House is good. BUT I think Cosmic Ray's is so much better. I just don't like eating a lot of fried food. And I have found that Cosmic Ray's has such a good selection. Although, I don't ever try anything new because I LOVE the rotisserie chicken with mashed potatoes. It is to die for. Good Luck with your search.

We enjoyed Cosmic Ray's and Pecos Bill's on our last trip. The grilled chicken sandwich at Cosmic Ray's was excellent, and we thought they handled the lunchtime crowd really efficiently.

I've never tried Columbia Harbor House. Is all the food fried, or do they have anything grilled or baked?

For the most part it is fried fish, fried chicken strips and french fries. I have heard from this board that they have a good chowder bowl. But I have not tried it. I do know that you can get carrots or something similar instead of the fries. The fish and chicken was good but I just can't eat a lot of "lifeless" food.

PamNC, I have heard from this board that you cannot get sandwiches or fried chicken from Aunt Polly's. Someone said that they cut it down to drinks and snacks/desserts. I wanted to try it but after I heard this, I did not waste my time.

I love Columbia Harbor House! I have had lunch there several times, and it is not all fried. Actually, I have never had any fried food there. They have a fantastic salad with chicken, fruit, and nuts in a vinagrete dressing, tuna salad sandwiches on whole-wheat bread, clam chowder in a bread boal, and vegetarian chili in a bread bowl. There is fried fish and chicken, french fries, but there is a lot of other good (non-fried) stuff!

I forgot to add that Columbia Harbor House also has a vegetarian sandwich.

BTW, when I was at WDW in December, Aunt Polly's no longer sold meals - as I recall it was just ice cream, chips, and drinks.
