Best price on contacts?

Accuvue Oays? someone told me Walmart or Sam's may have them - is this true?

yes they sell them but I personally have done better online at viston direct or 1800 contacts and since I need to order them anyway doesn't make much diff to me where they come from.

I just ordered Oasys from ezcontactsusa.com yesterday, $22.30 per box of 6. Been buying from them for years. Usually they are lower than 1800contacts. Shipping is quick and reasonable. They are located in Brooklyn. I ordered yesterday and they shipped today for delivery tomorrow.

1800 contacts is where you will be getting them if you order through Walmart. My eye doctor also started getting their contacts through 1800 contacts.

Vision Direct I found was vastly cheaper than 1800 contacts. $25/box compared to $45/box through my eye doctor, Walmart, and 1800 contacts.

Oasys are $167 for a year supply (8 boxes) at my Sam's Club. That breaks down to $20.87 per box. They ship them to my house for free.

As others mentioned, 1800 Contacts and Walmart are one and the same now. You won't save money by ordering by 1800 Contacts instead of Walmart.

I wear the same lens, but I wear torics which are more expensive.

I've been ordering from a place called OptiContacts and they are a LOT cheaper than 1800 Contacts.

A box of AcuVue Oaysis for Astigmatism lenses (6 lenses per box) is $24.99 @ OptiContacts. A box of the same @ 1800 Contacts is $47.99 a box! That's a huge difference.

If you have to use a new pair daily, just going by the front page, they would be 4 times what mine cost. I generally get 2 months worth of wear and Vision Direct they are $25/box, so $50/year as compared to the $213/year going by their front page.

6 lens per box is usually 2 week or 1 month contacts (each contact, so 3-6 months worth.) My eye doctor told me my contacts were for 2 weeks, but most people wear them for 1 month. What I found in reality from others wearing contacts is, they wear them at least 2 months of which I have been doing since 2002 when I first got contacts.

I have extended a box of six 2-week contacts (for each eye) for nearly 2 years when I was waiting for FSA money to start over again to buy contacts.

Daily wear contacts, I would think you get a whole bunch in a box. Those I think you are suppose to wear 1 day and throw them out.
