Best price for one day ticket?

For one day tickets, I see they are 55.38 at the gate. Are there any discounts buying in advance or is the best bet buying at the gate? Or to avoid the lines should I order ahead.

Hubby is going for a motorcycle trip from NJ to FL andsniff sniff, Is going to Magic Kingdom for one day... Can you all feel how jealous I am

Only place to get them is at the gate.

Hopper days don't expire, so you could always get a hopper ticket and pocket the unused days for a future trip. But you'll have to pay a lot more up-front.
