Best price for DL 3 day ticket

I've been searching the web looking for the best rate for a 3 day ticket. We are not So Cal residents so we can get the $99 special. So far the best rate I can find is through my company's perk provider, Working Advantage. They charge $161 for an adult ticket.
Does this seem like the best deal I can get?
If it helps, I am a Costco, Sams and AAA member.
Thanks
Ellen

If you are going first or second week of oct get it from gay days anaheim

There's usually not much for discounts. The one you have is $8 off the adult for DL travel, and most of the other authorized Disney travel agencies. So that's an ok deal, but not huge.

What are your dates? Will you have one or two Magic Mornings? They are Tuesday, Thursday, Sat and Sunday, and if there are 2 during your stay you will definitely want to take advantage of them. If you are staying at one of the onsite hotels you get to take advantage of all of them anyway. If you're not, the only company who gives 2 MMs with 3-day or more hoppers is GetAwayToday (all the others give one MM). They charge the same as the DL travel co. ($169), and if you use the discount code "podcast" they will waive the $10 processing fee.

Hope that helps. :)

Disney is VERY inflexible about discount prices and quite honestly, if you aren't a SoCal resident, you aren't going to find much of a discount. I just recently went through your exact situation, looking for discounts on tickets, and they just...don't exist as much as one would hope. You'll be hard pressed to find anything better than the 161.

The Oregon/Idaho AAA has the adult 3-day hoppers at $160.55 with free parking. This probably varies by AAA region. But if you could get the same deal, and you'd be parking, that's a significant savings; if you're just walking to the parks, though, then not so much.

Costco sells the following pass good for much more than just Disneyland.

3 Day park DLR park hopper pass
1 day pass for Seaworld
1 day pass for Universal Studios
1 day pass to San Diego Zoo or Wild Animal Park

Pass is good for 14 days from 1st use.

Also includes one magic morning early entry to Disneyland.

Adult price is $217, Chld is $174. Seems like a pretty good deal if planning to visit the other non Disney parks.

Thanks for all of the replies.... we are going 8/10 - 8/15 and staying at the DLH on DVC points. We probably wont take advantage of the early morning entry as my DD is 15 and is at the age where she wouldnt wake up until noon if I let her. Our friends are getting the So Cal City Pass for $217 @ costco.
They will be in CA a few days longer than us and will be able to take advantage of all 6 parks. I dont want to do 6 parks in 7 days (I would need a vacation after my vacation;)
We are also looking for suggestions on where to stay for our first 2 nights (Fri & Sat). We would like to stay near the beach but also close to LA and Hollywood for sightseeing.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Is Gay Days actually a convention? Not really, they just get that rate so I doubt you have to show any proof...that being said, I am kind of torn about using their discount, either for the hotel or the tickets...

I'm doing the AAA tickets with free parking. The Disney Store sells them too and some have reported getting plastic credit card type tickets when they bought there, but I can't varify that.

One suggestion I have for just trying to find options is to go to Expedia and input Los Angeles with your dates. Then when the hotels come up you go up to the drop-down menu and choose "Beach Cities" which will give you a list of hotels in Santa Monica, Marina del Rey, Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, Malibu, etc. That'll give you an idea of what's what. If you had little ones, I'd say Marina del Rey or Santa Monica. With a teenager, I'd say Santa Monica.

Then you can look around for good rates but armed with a list. Good luck!
