Best portable charger

I used a "battery bank" from Ebay. It worked good for two trips . . . by the third, it wasn't really charging the device anymore, but then I think I only paid about $20 for it, and it was strong enough to give me 2 full charges on my Note3 / Note4 when it was new. I suppose with anything that is rechargeable like that, there will be a limited life span.

I should note that my trips are a year apart, so it lasted for about 2 full years before going souith.

If you have one of the newer phones with Qualcomm's Quick Charge 2 technology, good idea to get a battery pack charger with the Qualcomm 2 technology also. Here is a fairly current list of Qualcomm Quick Charge 2 phones, but you already know if you have a Quick Charge phone, it is so stunningly fast to charge. I have a Note 5, charging is super fast.

I use the anker lipstick sized external battery. But i have an additional question!
What do you people use to carry your phone and charger when its charging? do you just put it all loosey-goosey in your backpacks?

I used a pocket in my cargo shorts, plenty of space. The times i had denim shorts or jeans i used an inside small pocket in backpack.
