Best Plant Based Meal on Property

I really enjoyed the plant based menu at Sebastian’s as well as Hoop Dee Doo.
Glad to see this. We are planning Hoop Dee Doo in January, but being vegan and a teetotaler I was a little concerned about the “value” of eating there. I’d hate to pay $70 for a plate of pasta and a bottomless glass of water.

Also, I gotta say I love Biergarten. I’m vegan with a vegetarian wife and 8 year-old vegetarian twins, and we all eat very well there. Chef TJ, who used to be at Trail’s End a few years back, I believe is now working at Cape May Cafe. He is the master of special diet requests. I had the pleasure of dining with him several times at Trail’s End and he always made it an absolute delight. From what I hear, he still does the same at Cape May. Vegandisneyworld.com and vegandisneyfood.com are both two really good resources as well.

Although we’re lactose-ovo vegetarians, and also don’t drink, the food was delicious. Even if it wasn’t, the show itself was outstanding and worth it. When you get there, there is a line to tell the chef your dietary restrictions. Have fun!

Oh yeah, Tusker House is the bomb-diggity. We’ve only been for breakfast, but it is by far our favorite breakfast spot on property. It has all the standard options that you’ll find everywhere else, but lots of other unique dishes not to be found elsewhere.

Been here a week with my vegetarian daughter. Some of her opinions:
Boma (AKL)—excellent! buffet variety & taste; great service
Garden Grill (EPCOT)—very good plant based meal! Plus characters & great service
Enzo’s Hideaway (D Springs)—excellent variety & tasty Italian food! Great service & quiet atmosphere
O’hana (Poly)—Mediocre plant based meal : ( Expensive, loud & rushed terrible service! Avoid!

Going to Sebastian’s (CBR) tonight..high expectations.

@vakamalua: Did you have a plant-based meal at Enzo's? Or was that vegetarian. I don't really see anything vegan on their menu but often restaurants have items off the menu. Thanks!

My daughter is a vegetarian not vegan. I think you’d have to check with Enzo’s to see if they can accommodate vegans.

The veggie wellington at Steakhouse71 was terrific - even though I eat meat, I loved it.

And the plant based platter at Sebastian’s Bistro is amazing. Better than the meat one. I am obsessed with their tofu. Just something about the way they season and fry it. I typically choose meat over plants and I will take that tofu any day.

Oh and the QS breakast platter at Primo Piatto at the Riviera - way better than the meat platter (we had both side by side).

Hope you enjoyed Sebastian’s as much as I do!

Yes! The plant-based platter at Primo Piatto is very good. I had it 3 or 4 times when we stayed at Riviera. Another one I thought of, at Kona Cafe you can request vegan Tonga Toast. I’ve also gotten it at Captain Cook’s, but the last two times I asked there they told me “no.” As far as Enzo’s, I know someone mentioned their vegetarian options above, anyone have any experience with their vegan options? The only reason we would go is because we have a dog named Enzo and my kids would probably get a kick out of it. In realtà non mi piace il cibo italiano.

They also have a plant based Entree-a vegetable skewer that's very good. What's in the breakfast platter?
