Best Places to use Meal Vouchers?

I bought three meal vouchers off e-bay. I know that Beaches and Cream is a highly recommended place for getting your money's worth (especially with the Kitchen Sink). Where are some other places where I can get the best value? Thanks!

If you are going to eat alot of Counter Service, consider joining Connections to get the meal vouchers for $11, each covers a combo meal, drink, and dessert, and can be good deals. I'm sure you've read about them here on the DIS, but if not, do a forum search or go to Mousesavers.com Don't buy them on ebay, they're really overpriced there.

The vouchers are a really good deal at Tangerine Cafe and Beaches and Cream. I would reccommend eating at Tangerine Cafe (take out in Morrocco in EPCOT) even without vouchers because the sampler platter is big enough for 2, and they have an inside, air conditioned dining area and it is not burgers and fries, so it feels like a "real meal".

Beaches and Cream is also a neat place, and with 3 of you, you may want to try the Kitchen Sink. It is $21, and you're not likely to finish it, so I wouldn't do it without a voucher. Food is okay there, not great, but the desserts are amazing!

Another good deal for budgeters is the Meal Deal at AK (Disney sells this for $10.50 and you get a combo meal, drink and coupon for a bottle of water and either a popcorn or icecream later in the day.) Best place to use it in AK is at Tusker House Resteraunt. We bought 1 deal for the two of us, and used it for a half rotissere chicken, vegetables, and mashed potatos with gravy and a drink, and then bought an extra drink for lunch- about $13 or so total. Then later in the day, we used the snack coupons for a soda and box of popcorn. This is yummy food, and you don't have to buy anything ahead of time.

Where can you purchase the Disney meal coupons? Are they only good for counter service or do they have others available for sit-down places.
Will be going in Sept. (3 adults, 3kids) and would be interested in this.
Although I use some of the budget ideas (bring own snacks, drink water, etc,) I don't really want to make sandwiches or cook in the room when I'm on vacation.

Connections and Simple Escapes both sell Disney dining vouchers they have Quick and Casual for lunch or dinner at counter service places, feature lunch for sit down lunch and breakfast feature for sit down breakfast. The prices vary accordingly and for the feature vouchers they have both children and adult vouchers available. I believe Q&C are 11.25 each, A Breakfast 17.75, C Breakfast 11.00, A Feature Lunch 30.25, C feature lunch 12.50. You can join these clubs for a one month trial period for $1.00 and if you decide to keep the yearly membership the price varies(they will tell you when you sign up). Hope this helps!

looks like you got a quick answer from patsal. When I bought vouchers from Connections in December, they were $11 for the Quick and Casual ones (those are the ones I wrote about).

They also have sit down lunch ones and breakfast ones, but I read somewhere (Mousesavers I think) that those are not as much of a "value", and also, they offer kids vouchers, but ditto there, read they aren't much of a saver.

Another place that has a great value for the Q&C vouchers is the PepperMarket at Coronado Springs. Although you pick up your own meal at one of the 'stations', you do have a waiter/tress and get the 'sit down' meal experience. We always stop by there for at least one meal on every trip.

TarraLee I had to go back and re-read your post. I misunderstood and thought you were talking about a meal coupon that Disney sells for $10.50. But then I realized that was the meal deal at AK.

Also, are there any similar meal coupons that can be used at Disneyland? Or are these only for WDW?

We used 2 Q&C vouchers at the peppermarket for the ribeye steaks. I'm sure it depends on who is cooking, but they really overdid ours. Next time we know to make sure they understand how we want our steaks cooked. (just past "moo" )The taste was good, though. We got a coke, bottled water, key lime pie and a turnover. Our total was over $52 and we only paid $22 for the vouchers.
