I'm heading down in a couple of weeks for my first solo trip. Anyone have any suggestions on places to eat that will work best for someone going alone? I'm looking for anything from sit down to counter service. Every other time that I have been has been with the kids so, I've done all of the favorites for families. But what about just me??

Certainly most counter service is easy - I usually choose to get my CS and then "dine" outside - either enjoying Casey's while sitting curbside for a parade or something along those lines....mostly so that I an savor the sites and sounds while enjoying my light meal....when choosing a sit-down, I usually enjoy a place that fosters easy interaction...50's Prime Time/Teppanyaki - places where even if you are "solo" - you're still easily able to "interact" - I love talking to people...so those types of choices fit both my meal "likes" and personality best! My biggest point of advice is....choose what you LIKE most....CM's will always go out of their way to make sure you feel the "magic"! :sunny:

My vote is for the plaza in mk. I find that the MK is always a zoo, even at its most mellow. I love it, but it is what it is. The plaza is quiet, a/c, and you get waited on instead of standing on line for a paper basket or plastic tray. The sammies, salads and burgers are yummy, and you could always have a scrumpious sundae :p

In Epcot, consider eating at Japan and Germany. You're seated at large tables with others and it will be a wonderful opportunity to share expreiences.

For counter service - got to Beaches & Cream and sit at the counter. Its a great opportunity to watch them prepare some absolutely sinfull stuff!
