Can anyone recommend a restaurant for dinner in the I-Drive area after a day at Universal Studios?

I've heard Bahama Breeze and Texas de Brazil mentioned - any views on these in particular?

Thanks :thumbsup2

Me and my three children ate at Bahama Breeze and all loved it. We also with husband and 3 chridren ate at dixie crossroads and loved that also.

We were just in Orlando this week staying on I-Drive. We ate at both the Olive Garden and Don Pablo's. Service was fine, the food was good, and most importantly, they were conveniently located for us (we stayed at the Embassy Suites right next door to the Olive Garden).

FWIW, whenever we're down that way, we try to go to Don Pablo's as we used to have one locally but they closed. At the Don Pablo's on I-Drive, we have found it to be consistent in service and food.

Texas de Brazil is great. Excellent food, decent price. Best for serious carnivores. :)

NBA City, Hard Rock Cafe, and Tony Roma's is all excellent.

We've eaten at Race Rock several times and have always had very good food and service.

Whenever weve been at Universal we always at at the NASCAR care on the way out. ABSOLUTELY FAB FOOD, and if you get a table outside on the balcony upstairs, you get a great view of the fireworks!!

Anothe rvote for Bahama Breeze, also one at the crossroads which is qually as good at the Idrive one.

One of our favorite places to eat at near Universal is Bubbalou's Bodacious BBQ Kirkman Rd location. :thumbsup2 The actual address is 5818 Conroy Road. It is a small restaurant with picnic table seating. The have the best Baby Back Ribs anywhere. All of their other food is really good to.

Sweet Tomatoes is wonderful. It's a buffet not table service but we LOVE it.

:thumbsup2 how about a big Chicago style pizza pie from Giordano's !! the best......we have it whenever we go to Chicago or Orlando!!! and Sweet Tomato's is good.

We'll be exploring I-drive as well. Ive read many good things about Charleys steakhouse...may hit Ruths Chris too!

Someone on another forum/thread recommended it. Haven't heard many recommendations for it myself but maybe it's a bit of a less well known gem?

The link to their website is here:

Looks fine, but probably not one I will do this time, as we have fondues at home occasionally. :stir:

If you could report back on your experiences Dizgeek, that would be really helpful. Have a magical :wizard: , fun :goodvibes trip.
