In one week today we are going to Disney for the first time! :woohoo: And I waned to get some different ideas as to where is a great place to watch this parade in Animal Kingdom. We don't want to waste a bunch of time looking for a great spot and then get a crappy one! Thanks for any help! Oh and we do have little kids. We are also wondering where you can see the Wishes fire works really well ouside of Magic Kingdom. We are planning dinner at The Wilderness Lodge after a day at MK and thought that we might be able to see the fireworks from there? Is that an alright view or no? THanks again!

Lee :tink:

There are some benches right outside the entrance to the Flights of Wonder show. If your going to the show they are on the left side of the entrance. We sat there . We were able to sit on a bench . No room for anyone to be able to stand in front of you. They were great seats.

I would watch the Jammin Jungle Parade from in Africa, because the parade passes there twice. Once at the beginning, and once at the end. The 2nd time is much less crowded, easier to get a front row seat, and also better opportunities for character interaction because there's less people around.

Right smack dab in the centre front of the castle... and you'll see these:

Thanks for the help so far! KELLY, I was wondering if it is really crowded infront of the castle for the fireworks?

Lee :cool1:

It was crowded as heck. I was standing at the top of the hub for around 60 minutes before Wishes and took me after 9 visits to MK in order to get that spot. The people, however, were more civil in that area. Once I set up my tripod etc, nobody, not a single person, stood in front of my setup. Also, literally EVERYBODY sat down.

Maybe it's the water that day :)

Kelly, did you take those pics with a digital camera? Did you adjust the shutter speed?

I used manual mode for the top 2, the bottom I used "P" mode

They were all on a tripod, at ISO 100 setting.

For the first 2 pics I used 2-sec shutter speed with f/10 and f/13 aperture respectively.

Oh, and I used Canon Digital Rebel with Sigma 18-125 lens at 18mm focal length.

hope it helps.
