Best Place to do Canopy Zipline on Mexican Riviera Cruise?

We also were wondering if the kids could ride with the parents on the Mules, that would be perfect for us since we wont be sure until were there if they have the courage to go on their own.

Sorry I don't know about riding 2 people on the mules. I would contact them and ask. I would guess it could depend on your weight as they have a weight restriction for the donkeys I think

If your ship doesn't make it to port, like if there is a storm or something, I know that you get your deposit back with Puerto Vallarta Cruise Excursions. I'm sure the other companies do the same thing but check to be sure

My husband and I went to PV on a MR cruise in 2007. We did the Vallarta Adventures zipline and LOVED it. It was one of our best excursions, we can't wait to go this time and take the kids.

They are very safety conscious on all of the zipline tours. They have tons of guides, we used gloves, and we were always tethered to a line. I never once felt unsafe, even really high in the air.

We didn't have our kids with us, but there were quite a few kids on our tour from our ship and they all seemed to have a blast. The tour operators know exactly what they have to do to get the kids all the way to the end of each line.

They pick you up right at the port and--at least Vallarta Adventures does this--took us in a boat through the marina to their offices where we were loaded onto an open sided Army-style truck and trekked way out into the middle of the jungle. It's another world you drive through--the poverty is pretty rampant the farther you travel from the port.

We were in Puerto Vallarta in January on Mariner of the Seas. We did the Los Veranos Canopy tour, which was absolutely awesome! We booked directly through the company, and it was very reasonably priced.

We've done this one too & highly recommend it.:thumbsup2

I just looked at los veranos canopy tour website and it says no children under 6. My children will be DS 8 and DD 6. So I am hoping my family will like this. We are booked on the MR sailing March 6th, 2011. Is this too early to be so excited?? LOL

My kiddos will be 6 and 8 at the time of our Mexican Riviera cruise, Don't know if they can/will do a zip line. Also not sure if I can get my hubby to do any of it. I absolutely want to do the zip line and mule ride though. Anyone have experience with someone coming on the excursion but not doing the zip? How about the mule ride, can the little ones ride with a parent?

Cheryl I know when I contacted the Puerto Vallarta Cruise Excursions in the reply they mentioned a pass for those that didn't want to zipline and I think it was $10. I would email about the ages for zipline and see if 7 the requirement or the recommendation. I would also ask if you could do the mule ride only with the kids if they don't want to do the zipline.

We call our day of zip lining with Puerto Vallarta Adventures The Funnest Day Ever!!!!!!!! Nuff said.
