best place to celebrate a birthday in DTD?

Hey all! I'm hoping to get some suggestions. I'm looking for the best Downtown Disney restaurant for a birthday dinner. I'll be celebrating the big 2-8 and have to squeeze in DtD on evening of my birthday. Will be there with my younger sis, DS7 and DNiece1. Looking for a place the does a little something special. If not, maybe someone has a suggestion for an early dinner at one of the resorts. Thanx in advance =)

IDK about the restaurants in DTD..so I say maybe try Ohana's.

How about Wolfgang Puck's? They have a big selection for all tastes given the broad range of ages in your group.

I've had a birthday at Wolfgang Pucks! It was a couple of years ago so it could always be different now, but it was good. They didn't really do anything super special besides saying happy birthday when they brought out my dessert (which had a little candle in it!).

That same birthday though we had breakfast at 1900 Park Fare (as Mary Poppins is my fave!) and it was FANTASTIC! They gave me a birthday crown, a birthday card and placemat, and a birthday cupcake. The cupcake was brought to me by Alice and the Madhatter who sang and the Madhatter made all kinds of jokes and was soooo fun! I felt like a little girl....even though it was my 25th birthday....

Last year I had my birthday breakfast at Ohana which was great too. I was given a birthday card signed by all the characters and the staff sang to me, bringing me mickey waffles with a candle! I got a birthday lei and extra hugs from Stitch! LoL, I'm sure you'll have a great time no matter where you end up! And happy early birthday!

For my 40th b-day, we went to WDW and I wanted to eat at Rainforest Cafe for my b-day lunch. It was packed out!!! On the boat ride from POR I could smell the bbq from HoB and it smelled great. We walked down there and got right in. Everything we ate was awesome!!! The ribs are wonderful!!! All the deserts we tried were great too and the big portions make a great b-day treat!!!

We still love RFC,but HoB sure did come up as a favorite too!!!
