I really need to get our park tickets for Sept. 16-20. Since the first and last days are travel days, I only need 3-day park hoppers. I was planning on buying them online at the Disneyland website, but I just wanted to double check that that is the best/cheapest way. My husband seems to think I should be able to find a better deal somewhere. Can we get tickets cheaper at another ticket outlet, or a travel agency, or is the disneyland website the best way to go?

Thanks as always.

I've had good luck buying the e-Ticket from the DL web-site.

DLR Web-Site

If you select the e-Ticket option, then Disney sends you the e-Ticket as a PDF file, and you just print it out and bring it straight to the turnstiles. At the turnstile the CM scans the e-Ticket and prints out the "real" ticket. The DL web-site lists a 3-day park hopper ticket at $184, and there are no additional fees for the e-ticket.

Ares Travel

AresTravel sells the 3-day park hopper ticket for $179. I haven't bought from Ares, but I think you would have to go to a ticket booth before going to the turnstiles. Others might know, but I think Ares might charge some kind of shipping fee.

Get Away Today

Get Away Today sells the 3-day park hopper ticket for $174. With GAT I'm pretty sure that you would have to go to the ticket booth before going to the turnstiles. I haven't bought tickets from GAT, but I would check to see if they have any shipping charges. The code "CASTLE" might save the shipping charge.

Hope this helps. :earsboy:

The company I work for offers a perk of being able to purchase discount tickets through TicketsAtWork.com so, if you work for a large corporation or know somebody who does, it is worth checking into. I got three-day hoppers for $167.

Thanks so much - I just heard about this Ares Travel on another thread about character dining...I looked at their site, but don't understand exactly how it works, either (do I print tickets? Pick them up somewhere?)...anyone know details on how that works?
