This gets said on almost every pandora thread, but if you put a non-pandora charm on your bracelet, you can void any warranty for your bracelet you have in place.
Yes you can break your bracelet with a non-pandora bead because the fit / thread is not optimal. Your risk - but if your willing to do it, go for it. I saw a non-pandora bead get stuck on a pandora bracelet. Those bracelets are too expensive to risk it in my opinion - especially when you can get the real deal around 30 bucks or so.
Someone drank their kool aid!
If it is a risk you are willing to take, it is your choice.
But Pandora will not help you if you break/ruin your bracelet by putting non-Pandora charms on it. Pandora charms and bracelets are 100% guaranteed, until you put something non-Pandora on them.

Unless a charm gets stuck on a bracelet and you need them to remove it, how would they know?
I have a bracelet break. I took all the charms off before I took to the jeweler. They replaced it without a word.
That said, I did end up eventually buying a Chamilia bracelet for my Disney charms. I had a few charms that didn't slide easily over the stoppers on my Pandora bracelet.
They won't.
