best place for breakfast around the boardwalk?

Well, we're going again.
This time my son is going to do the Albatross Cruise from the Bayside Marina and me and my husband will have time to kill. We plan on walking around the yacht and beach club area and around the boardwalk.
I was wondering where is a good place to get breakfast around there?

Yacht Club Galley offers both a la carte choices and a nice buffet.

Spoodles at the Boardwalk is another idea.

Fresh at the Dolphin did have a GREAT buffet breakfast but we were a little disappointed last time we were there. Still very good but not quite what it was.

I would probably pick Yacht Club Galley so you don't need to fret about time. If you finish early, you can explore the resort.

Those are all good, nutritious suggestions. On the other hand...

We like to grab breakfast at the Boardwalk Bakery. Generally get a breakfast burrito, and something sweet for dessert, then walk it off around the lake.

I would have to agree, the Yacht Club Galley is a great choice for breakfast. I thought the Buffet was very good since I am a big breakfast eater. If I remeber correctly it was around $15 per adult. Somewhat pricey for breakfast, but I found myself skipping lunch and having an early dinner because of eating so well at breakfast.

Cape May Cafe in beach club has a great buffet character breakfast.

Spoodles- nice and quiet breakfast and a good menu by disney standard.

We have eaten breakfast many times .. and at all the places .. in the Boardwalk area and love Spoodles! The french toast is very good. As the poster above mentioned, it is usually a nice quiet meal. Ask for a table by the window to people watch.. or the open kitchen to watch the chefs.

we have stayed many times at BWV and have nothing spectacular

Spoodles was okay at best

If you have a car I would suggest going to BOMA at AK for breakfast
can't be beat
if not. you can take the bus from any of the hotels there

if you do have a car..

got outside and do a IHOP or perkins or better yet
best place ever

The Boardwalk Bakery is a favorite of mine. They also do a wonderful Mickey Mouse Birthday Cake. We have gotten one there twice.

Hmmm...I will have to try this "La Peep" place since I agree with everything Minijeanie said. i LOOOVE Boma, and while I did enjoy my breakfast at Spoodles, it did not WOW me. I would eat there again, though.

I think the OP wants to stay nearby, though, and not travel too far away from her DS.

Spoodles!

We had breakfast at Spoodles last year -- the all you can eat platter -- and it was wonderful. It was so much food that we didn't order anything additional. It was nice and quiet and at the time we went, the place was kind of empty. We were a little late for our ADR and were told at the check-in podium that they had wondered what happened to us because apparently, we were the only ones on the ADR list for that morning.

Nonethless, I think Spoodles for breakfast is one of the best kept secrets and we wouldn't hesitate to go back.

IHOP is gross IMO. I'd much rather walk over to Boardwalk Bakery or Spoodles.

Spoodles!! We had breakfast there just last week (first time since they stopped the buffet)) and it was very nice!!

And ya, Wildernesslodgelover is right, we did want to stay close. I was so surpirsed how quickly the time flew by when my son did the Grand Floridian Pirate Cruise, two hours were just gone, we had had breakfast at Kona and could not recommend it enough, btw.
