and please don't say Biergarten because I spit cold fish on a friend there once and I can't go back :rotfl:

Anyway - we'll be a large group of about 20 and want some place fun, preferably outside a park *but that's not a deal breaker* that can accomodate us on a Saturday night. Suggestions?? tia :)

Ohana Baby:thumbsup2
Saw a wedding party there once it was about 25 people, they looked like they were having a blast.

If you get eithr Chef Mickey or Boma within 30 minutes of opening. CM has a semi-private area that will seat about 50 and they will put groups there. However, you reservation has to be for right near opening so they don't give the tables away.

We ate at Ohana's for our wedding dinner- there was 18 of us and had a blast. Also WC at the WL is a very fun place too.

We have a party of 17 in September. Some of our adr's are.

O'hana
Chef Mickey's
Boma
Cinderella's Gala Feast
Spoodles
San Angel Inn
Lecellier
Capt-n-Jacks
Coral Reef
Mama Melrose

Cape May is great for big groups and not quite as noisy as some of the other suggestions.

I'll jump in and further that love for O'hana! We go there at least once a year....often with big groups...we make it our big family meal. Check it out!

Cheers,
Josh

Hi Josh -- Welcome Aboard!!! I just found out about the Disboards in May. Can't believe I have been keeping up with the threads, as I usually don't have the time, but find myself setting aside time to read daily posts on several threads. As I love Disney like most of the people on the boards, thought it would be fun, and it has.

Many happy Disney posting days!!!

They did warn you that you will not all be at one table, I hope, for some of those ADR's.

I can add California Grill as a place that will seat a large party together. I am not sure they can do 20, but at worst it would be 2 tables next to each other.

Oh and when you call, make sure to ask for Group Dining right away. The Group Dining CM's will be able to tell you all your choices.

I know Chef Mickeys can take a large group, we were 15 on our last trip! This trip we are going to 'Ohanas. Wolfgang Pucks also took us without a problem!Enjoy your planning & your trip! Also 1900 Park Fare is very enjoyable also!

Our last trip was a group of 22, and here are some of the places we ate:
HDDR (2 tables)
LeCellier (1 table, but it took them almost 2 hrs. to seat us!)
Mama Melrose's (2 tables)
'Ohana (1 table, this was for breakfast)
LTT (2 tables)
Mitsukoshi Teppanyaki (2 tables, each table seats 9 or 10 I think)
50's PT (2 tables)

My sister had her wedding dinner at WCC for about 50 or so, we had to call the restaurant directly to deal with the mgr. for that one.

If you call group dining (which you need to do if your party size is greater than 10), they will usually suggest that you either be seated at the first or last seating of the day. We had better luck with the first than the last.
Their number is 407-939-7707.
